Colossus bug?

Unsure if this is a bug but something seems off. During Real Steel the AI used Colossus's yellowflag.png He marches to the front. Following turn I manually target Storm, and let loose Thor greenflag.png She of course falls instantly. It would appear that Colossus can't stay in front of an AOE attack. My understanding was that after C-lo (just testing it out) dropped his yellowflag.png, as long as it's countdown remained he should have received the double whammy that dropped Storm. I destroyed the countdown the following turn.
