Hey, mind getting me out of this sandbox.

Forgive me for making a potentially stupid statement, but for someone who really isn't terribly interested in a PvP/compete against everybody sort of environment, it almost sounds like a sandbox would be a nice place to play in... save for the fact that it's reserved for cheaters and suspected cheaters...?

(Glad you got out of the sandbox quickly!)

Some of the guys I got to play MPQ also said they'd prefer in a sandbox just so that they never have to worry about getting attacked. Stuff like infinite HP/Iso is really a side bonus compare to the trauma caused by suddenly losing 200 PvP rating points.

I suggested they make a test server which can be the de facto location for any cheaters since in any test server you have to give people infinite resources if you want them to test anything. Maybe they can even put a toggle like 'nobody can ever attack me' on the test server, provided the guy using the test server provides useful statistics.

This is towards my playstyle a bit more - not SUCH a PvP fan. I was in the sandbox for a little while and it was actually good from the perspective of PvP not being as intense and you could gain stuff without being beaten down (aka. my recent 101st position (again)).

This is a gameplay suggestion that comes up on occasion - a pseudo-sandbox mode where people can just play at a somewhat less frenetic pace yet still earn stuff.

Thanks for explaining; yeah, it really sounds like something I'd be interested in myself. It isn't that I don't like communities or something, but, my real life junk is already frantic and frenetic enough; it would be nice to be able to stably move towards my goals of earning things in the game without being pushed to 'run with the wolf pack at full speed ahead' all the time.

I had my Steam account sandboxed so I could use it for testing out character builds and combos. I've been toying with using it to do instructional videos, but I doubt there is any call for that.

Try to join an alliance. If you get an error then you've likely been sandboxed.

If Colognsieur didn't get sandboxes then it can't be the number of characters you have or how much resources you have.

I'm guessing it's likely triggered for winning games too fast.

Never sandboxed, yet. Take whatever information from that you can take.
  • Personally, I'd like to know what triggered it, just so I can avoid it if possible. I'm approaching 500 tokens in reserve; I assume that won't trigger it but I don't feel safe stating that absolutely. Is it ISO reserves (if so, I'm safe)? HP reserves (I'm more at risk, here)? Playstyle? "Success vs. spending?
