Spam reduction idea: time delay on activation

Just a quicky, since we seem to be getting a lot of spambots - let people post outside of the bugs forum after 5 posts, but only 24 hours after their fifth post. Since their five spam posts should get deleted in that time, they'll never have enough posts + time to make a post. I'd also suggest a minimum 24 hours after creating your account to create a thread, and create a stickied thread in the bugs forum for newbs to respond to and post actual bugs to.

    One thing to know is that a lot of spam doesn't come from bots. It comes from people. There are simple forum hacks for generic forums like these, but a large amount of spam is actually generated by actual people who sit and fill out the forms and follow all the instructions and still spam you to death. Fighting robots is a noble job but there's already a ton of barriers to entry for this forum and adding another one may start killing recruitment.
