How about team-up bonuses that are based on the team you have, not something won in battle

You have a team of founding members of the Avengers, everyone has 10% bonus to damage, 10% less damage taken
You have a team of Dark Avengers, everyone has 5% bonus to damage
You have a team of Masters Of Evil, everyone gets a special "hit Jarvis" attack

Something like that, it's the concept rather than the details that I want to throw out there for consideration

Every other game that I have played based on Marvel characters has had such a mechanic. Arguably, we had something similar in the now-retired boosts which targeted certain teams. The problem there was that some people may not know who is a mutant/Avenger/X-Men without some sort of documentation. We still have this problem with "good vs bad" with characters like Ares, Sentry, and Deadpool in the game who have spent time as both or neither.

We need exploratory research points to balanced incremental innovation to which the solution can only be knowledge-based digital matrix approaches. Forward-looking companies invest in compatible incremental paradigm shifts, but at base level, this just comes down to four-dimensional monitored alignment. [/business-speak]
