Do event tokens expire?

Hello all,

Apologies if this has been answered before, but I've searched both the FAQ as well as the forums. My question:

*When an event ends (say, in this case, the Simulator), will the event tokens we've collected expire if they have not been opened for covers before the event ends? If no, what occurs?

The tokens do not expire. They become available on a page to to the right of the current event tokens in the Recruit Heroes section. I kept Prodigal Sun event tokens for months after the PVE ended out of sheer apathy.

In the past, the tokens would become Heroic after the event ended. This no longer happens.

If you win a few Lightning Round tokens but do not like the available characters, go ahead and save them for as long as you wish. When the available character pool updates for those tokens, you can go ahead and use them. You'll still get Moonstone instead of the character you really want, but suffering is inevitable in life so whatever.

They don't expire, the screen will be at the end of your recruit heroes screen, and you can still redeem them. They used to turn into normal heroics after the event ended, but now you get to keep them.

Ah ha. Thanks for the clear answer! Yeah Moonstone seems to really want to join my team. She won't take the hint.
