Who gets the HP?

I currently have the following 3*s on my roster (all at max level for the number of covers).

3/5/5 Punisher
4/4/4 Daken
3/4/5 Thor
5/3/3 Hood
3/3/5 Sentry
3/2/2 Patch
3/2/2 X-Force (4*)

I have various others that are far off maxing (such as 4/1/1 HT, 2/3/1 Mags and 2/0/1 BP). I have cover maxed Psylocke, Doom and Rags all of whom seem inferior to the above.

I have about 3,700 HP and am considering buying 2 3* covers. Any recommendations on which to buy? Am conscious that Daken is being nerfed and there is a nerf threat to Sentry. I would like to buy covers for a character that won't be messed about with (Devs please take note). My thinking is to leave Daken and Thor as Daken covers are likely to be released at the same time as the nerf (and also he is being nerfed!) and I would work with a Thor red in the short term if I get that before yellow (also Thor covers are available as a PvE placement award, though tricky to achieve as a European player whose wife notices if he plays iPad at 2am). I am thinking either buy 2 Hood blues or hold out for a few more Patch covers and then buy two yellows (ideally for a 5/3/5 build). The alternative is to buy roster slots - I only have about 34 and I wonder if I should be patient in waiting for covers (not my forte).

Edit: I have Falcon at 3/2/3 - don't think he is worth levelling but understand there is synergy with Daken

If you are going to buy 2 covers, I would highly recommend Hood. He's the best 3* support that makes high cost abilities usable faster, AND deny opponent's AP.

If you are buying 1 cover only, I would still go with Daken black cover because True Healing. His nerf is not that severe IMO, still valuable to run with LT or HT.

+1 for the Hood. Blue Hood was one of the earliest 3* covers I had maxed (ran him at 3/5/3 for the longest time with my 2* and underleveled 3* teams), and look at where I am today.

Sentry... is needed for high level PvP, but if you don't shieldhop like crazy (minimum 3-4 shields spent on a tourney), I think a 3/3/5 Sentry works fine, too.

I'm saying this since you admitted you are not patient. But if you amassed that HP over a significant period of time and you are not in a top alliance, then I'd recommend buying roster slots as covers do come eventually. Hopefully Daken will be a reward after the patch soon enough, too.

Thanks very much for the tips - dropped HP on two Hood covers and two roster slots - now waiting to pull the covers from standard tokens in the week
