Improper skills

Now that Hawkeye is losing his dodge, it makes me think "he should have never been given that skill." IMO, Hawkeye's Dodge is closer to a true Spider Sense than Spidy's *actual* spider-sense ability.

Same with Doom. Doom without a blast or decoy ability doesn't feel very DOOM-like. Doom needs a decoy. He needs a pew-pew blast. He needs an all-nullifying attack; something that puts a negative timer on enemy team abilities. No, Thor. You don't get to use Call The Storm while Doom's countdown timer is in place. He has thought ahead of you. Again, I feel like Doom's current abilities are better suited for Dr Strange.

Also, the new Magneto is a better Loki than Loki is. He gets the protect/attack tile swap. he gets a tile swap that does damage. He gets a nuke. What purpose does Loki serve?

Punisher, with his green. Why would a guy intentionally firing a rocket not be able to place where it lands? Same with Hawkeye? The guy is a master archer. You're telling me he's just winging it; closes his eyes and lets the arrow land (wherever)?

These are the decisions made in-house that make me question D3.

Er, Hawkeye's getting fixed, how did you miss that?

I just want to add that Deadpool's Black is what I would have expected any of the versions of Captain America to have. Instead of that godawful yellow.

Because it's less about where it lands than it is about just making anything blow up to create a distraction.

Hawkeye already got his evade nerfed before this update or did you not know about the forced Anger/Energy Absorption combos with Sentry/Hulk? Fun times.

A lot of the characters feel pretty on to me. My favorite is Hulk. I'd like Smash to do more base damage, but all his powers feel like Hulk. The buffs to Hawkeye and X-Force seem well thought out too. I particularly like the rationale behind having a rainbow team for X-Force, because it differentiates this version from him other variants in a way that fits the comics.

    On the other hand:
I don't know much about Moonstone, but her powers lack a theme to me. I just don't get anything about her.

Some of the AoE powers also seem poorly imagined:

Black Widow's Sniper Rifle description cracks me up. It says she uses armor piercing rounds to damage all enemies. As if everyone jumps into a single file line for her to take them all out. Shouldn't this be a Punisher or Bullseye power anyway?

Black Panther's Rage of the Panther is the same for me. I have trouble imagining him running around to each enemy and delivering his kitty scratch of death. Why does he give them AP, exactly? I like winning with BP, but I scratch my head every time is use his black power. How did I just take out Thor, Doom, and Magneto with that animation?

You totally missed the point. Them removing this ability reinforces that Hawkeye shouldn't have been given the ability. Spiderman should have, instead.

    EXACTLY!!!

the yellow isn't bad. But it costs so much and doesn't seem chivalrous like Deadpool's.

If ever a character needed attack tiles, it's hulk. If you hurt him, it should make him stronger ala daken's attack tiles when greens are matched. You have to overpower hulk, or he gets stronger and stronger. That's why superman knocked him out rather than continually exchanging blows. (Marvel DC crossover).

To add: Avengers Assemble. When they meet Black Panther, he slashes open Tony's armor like a hot knife through butter. That's what I remember when he does the kitty scratch.
