Pricing and balancing

I've been playing this great game for a while, and never spent money on it.
Pricing is just so bad that I feel like being ripped off, even if I'd be willing to spend a couple of bucks for covers.

Second item is game balance that is pretty bad, you keep releasing new characters while old one are out of control. It feels like this is done on purpose to generate more money with new badly balanced characters...

One correction; the new characters are balanced quite nicely, they just feel bad in comparison to the likes of the 3* giants (Sentry and his pals).
