I freaking love LDaken/HT/hood

it doesn't do enough damage to justify the low hp at top levels, but it is so fun in PvE. get a bunch of green, drop two flame jets, and wait for intimidation. if you get some red before then, smack them with a fireball. You get some blue, drop Daken 's blue. you want more greens on the board anyway.

4 flame jets in one turn with a decent amount of strike tiles is freaking brutal. Only problem is that it takes a little bit to set up, so if you're playing against 166 Bruisers it doesn't work too well.

Maybe because I started winning the majority of my 3* covers with them, maybe because their synergy is just too good, or maybe because the other 2* choices are kinda terrible but my favorite B-team combo is still Magneto (Marvel Now), Storm (Classic), and Ares.

I've fallen in love with IM40+HT. Big damage on most colors, covers all but purple, and fireball is just awesome. If only torchie had better HP...

For me in the PvE was LDaken/HT/Falcon. Particularly awesome against all goons nodes.

falcon/HT/Ldaken.. this team is so squishy it appeals ppl to beat me up in pvp at higher point.. but at low level or in pve its by far the most enjoyable line up.. to lower the pain, you could even insert spidey instead of HT (even if it means daken is the only damage dealer..).. got only one thing to say cakawwwwwwww..

I'm team Daken/Torch too but with a revolving guest member: Psyduck, Hood or Falcon depending on opposition and/or healthpacks.

My A-teams for PvP all include Magneto I guess since I like my crutches too much, but then it's Hood time.
For PvP, Thor/Hood.
For PvE, HT/Hood/oBW (Punisher works too), Hood/cStorm/MMN, Hood/HT/Daken, lazy Cap/Hood/oBW. When Psy is required, Psy/Daken/Falcon against goons or Psy/Daken/Ares against villains. Psy/Ares/Falcon for mixed teams and the full rainbow. Other ragtag teams: BP/Doom/Hood or MMN for blue>black acceleration; lazy Cap/IM 40, mHawkeye/IM 40/Hood, Patch/IM 40, GSBW/Thor/Ragnarok, etc. I think GSBW/BP/lazy Cap could be a nice if slowish PvE team, with huge damage on red, yellow, green, black, and utility purple/blue.

B-Teams: Thor/Spidey (featured/Doom) and Psylocke/BP (featured/Punisher)

I'm gradually building up levels on GSBW, Captain America, Mohawk and Human Torch who are all maxed out. I'm looking forward to teams involving those groups. Mohawk/HT/Ldaken seems fun. Cap/GSBW/Punisher as well.

I stumbled on to this one while trying to lose an opening match in a pvp. Accidentally won and barely took damage.

My Bullseye is lvl 25 with 3 purple and 5 black
My Falcon is lvl 40 with 1 yellow
My Loki is lvl 43 with 2 black

Bullseye puts up shields that are hard to take off the board. Falcon strengthens them. Loki turns enemy strike tiles into shields and any shields into strikes. Bring some damaging TUs. Bullseye finishes them off with Murderous Aim. And I'm getting blue and purple covers for Falcon from the Blind Justice pvp. Bird Strike baby! Protect tiles galore.

Low health. Low leveled. Almost no offense. Few covers and mostly the same colors. Two characters with only two powers. Seemingly very risky, but it works.

Daken Hulk was oddly fun to play with. I'd say Daken Torch but that's probably going to have to become the new A-Team.

I don't have a particular lineup of inferior characters but here's a list of characters I like to use that are not the top tier:

HT - Because Fireball just has an awesome animation.
The Hood - Because winning with Twin Pistols is totally awesome, even if it's completely frivilous
Ares - 30 green AP Onslaught
Moonstone - Try to figure out a rocket science sequence of Gravity Warp to do 1500 damage.
The Hulk - Find a way to abuse Anger and do a 30 green AP Thunderous Clap or Smash, or both.

I've got a few I've been messing around with. Not exactly power teams, but entertaining and effective.

Team Green (Hulk/Thor/GSBW): Green, green everywhere!
Team Shields (Cap/Hood/OBW): Green? Who needs green? Shields all day!
Team Recharge (IM40/HT/CStorm): IM40 has attack powers? Lies! Hadouken!
Team Cascade (Rags/Loki/Daken): Strike tiles, shake board, profit. Repeat as necessary.
Team Chimichanga (She-Hulk/MoStorm/Deadpool): Ummm...chimichangas are delicious? Nothing to see here. Move along.

I know so many people love the Storm and Mag 2* combo; I can rinse those two in PVP for good few matches but also like 2* Thor and Loki combo as sometimes you'll whack his yellow but the greens haven't linked, Loki to the rescue! Do his tile shuffle and the amount of damage and then flashing moves are just tooo good.
I don't tend to take Ares in against either another Ares or Thor as his green gives them green and your hesitant at using his yellow as the damage it does you as well is not pretty as they link your yellow timer.
I don't have a high Hulk yet but having him with anyone is good as his passive black is fun and so many HP to go through.
Got to say though, HT is becoming my favourite character like a few others here, just keep his green tiles topped up, whack his black out and wait for the red to scorch the board but just wish his HP were higher to keep up

MoStorm/Falcon/C.Mags

All colours covered (Even post C.mags change). Defense tiles boosted negates all damage, yellow, red and green shake up the board. Purple nukes or add more defense tiles.

Post C.Mags change this build might be too slow, but it's a lot of fun to have 350+ defense tiles.
