S.H.I.E.L.D is recruiting one

We don't like periods, so we dropped the last one.

S.H.I.E.L.D means Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and the Letter D. Honestly, it would have looked weird to just be S.H.I.E.L. - that just looks wrong. So, we added the D because, quite frankly, it's cooler that way.

We're looking for someone new. Maybe you just need a home for the season, or something more long term. Either way, contact us because you might be pretty enough for us right now in the right lighting.

If you can consistently get a minimum of 10,000 points per pvp, you are probably exactly what we're looking for. Anything below 9,000 and you'll be kicked, violently.

Seriously - we don't have stipulated mandates. We won't force you to give up your first born. But, some of our members may stare at you at random times and make you feel generally uncomfortable. We don't bite, usually.

We're a team of hardcore people who sometimes don't want to be hardcore. When we want something though, we can be a force to be reckoned with. We crush it when we need/want too, and get lax on things we don't need to. Many of us fight for season placement, many focus more on getting covers they need. If an alliance mate needs a set of covers, we collectively push to help that member get it via alliance rewards.

More importantly, we like having fun with each other. We all communicate often, and at times, our chat goes rampant with jokes, wild stories and tales hard to believe. We can be funny, serious, even random. We talk strats, plans, and generally help each other when needed.

S.H.I.E.L.D was originally formed with a focus on active forumites who are like-minded. This still holds true today. We like to have fun together, both in game, and in our chat. We're not looking for bad attitudes, big heads, drama or anything resembling Justin's Beaver.

At the end of the day, this is still just a match 3 game, not a quest for world domination. The game can be frustrating, and at times, people need to vent. But we try not to focus on constant negatives, but occasionally do find new ways to blow stuff up. This game has certainly helped to increase the success of cell phone repair companies, so I guess D3 can at least be proud of that.

Oh, and Django has an opening as well (that Dave is not going to stick some D into, cuz we already got D). Between S.H.I.E.L.D and Django, all you free agents clearly know which D is a better fit for you (hint: it's not the one that sticks the D around back).

Of note: yes, we have several high scoring type players. But that is not required. We generally maintain a non-minimum requirement, but do expect team members to do their best to help the team as a whole.
