  • I think this will result in the biggest difference in score needed to win in consecutive PVPs in MPQ history.

    I absolutely dont mind DD as rewards and next PVP.
    They need to shift all their 3* characters, afterall.

    I hope so because the scores became ridiculously high for me these last weeks...but somewhat I fear that scores will not drop so much.
    I think a significant part of the best pvp players are motivated by a taste for competition or challenge and not so much by reward.
    (They score high because they can)

    Instead, I'm not great competitor and I like to be motivated by a nice cover icon_lol.gif
    Unfortunately Punisher and Daredevil were among my 3 earliest 3* character with 13 covers (the 3rd being Patch which was recently awarded too!), so the season V start with few incentive for me...

    Alright, I'll say it: yay, Bagdevil!

    It'll be nice to finally have some more covers for the old crotchkicker.

    That's to be expected. I'm sure they'll eventually make Fury a standard rotational cover in PvP's but I wouldn't expect him to appear in every one.

    As for the PvP and DD....

    DD is a REALLY fun character to play as but needs a push to be somewhat competitive. I'd love to see the following changes made to how his strike tiles work.

    1) When a tile explosion ability destroys a trap tile then that tile is now triggered rather than disabled. (Abilities like Punisher Green and Hulk Green now trigger traps)
    2) When a trap tile would be targeted by a strike tile, protect tile, or countdown tile it now triggers rather than disables. (Abilities such as Daken Purple, Psylocke red, Sentry's Green now all trigger traps)

    These changes would make DD a worthy 3 star character and allow him to act as a potential counter to some of the current powerhouses in the game.
    This would also give him a use against goons in PvE and accomplish all this without making him or other trap tile generators game breaking.

    I just realized that I actually do need one more cover for DD to get him to max covers.

    I'm still not putting any ISO into him. icon_razz.gif

  • Daredevil isn't for the powergamers, but he's one of the most fun people in the game to play. He's even more fun boosted.
  • Yep, I am hoping to move him to my B team at some point, if not my A team. or even my defence team. But still need those 3 covers, and this one will not finish him out for me.

    I like those ideas!! But that means Daredevil will always kill a Daken team. And at 7AP for a crotchkick of death, you could wipe out an entire team very easily. The destroying of traps I like a little more. There aren't too many people who use tile destroyers. But my idea, and if you've seen me talk about the Devil I mention this alot, is to make the Ambush a random tile on RED or GREEN tiles!! Seriously....how often would you be worried that your main source of power, the mighty mighty green tile, could contain a trap that will kill you. (or at least if you're like me and have him maxed and leveled out!) I would love that the most.
  • I wish DD was better. He frightens me on defense and is in the first tier of people I take out. But on offense, his traps never seem to hit (observation bias)

    I really like the suggestions made by babinro on how to fix him.

    Ok, so I was doing some looking into my past and I noticed something......this is an exact copy of Season 4. They had a Punisher tourney with Daredevil rewards!!! Damn....their lazy knows no bounds!!

    Nope, it was the end of Season 3, daredevil's event followed She-Hulk and gave out Punisher rewards, Punisher's event gave out Dr. Doom. All 4 of these characters were not featured in PVP during season 4 (she-hulk was the reward of final season 4 web-slinger event)

    Did some really early pushing and noticed X-Men are floating around my score. Already got defensive wins and losses off them so its whatev's. Have fun you guys, I expect you guys to eclipse me by tomorrow but I'm only in this until the 800 point HP reward.
