I think it would be beneficial to be able to directly invite someone into your alliance. Something for commanders only. What think you?

    This would be a great idea until top players start getting thousands of invites, at which point this becomes spam. If someone wants to go to an alliance, they'll go. The better alliances advertise. The alliances that don't would, and should have no chance to get a top player. There are multiple competitive and casual alliances that do advertise (ie-LazySkynet). No one needs a lot of unsolicited invites.
