Should I Discard MS or DD?

I just got a DD cover. I've discarded one once for the sake of a roster slot. At the moment, the only hero on my roster I can part with is MS lvl 7 with full covers. Is it worthwhile to do so? I know that a lot of people on this forum seem to dislike DD and I might need MS for another balance of power or the like...

Ideas?

Without knowing the rest of your roster it's hard to say, generally speaking though daredevil and moonstone are pretty useless. If you stick with the game 2* covers won't be too hard to get so I'd say drop moonstone for now just bc daredevils are more rare (if you care about the collection aspect)

Neither are worth the ISO investment. Wow, I feel like I haven't said this in forever but here goes... Read polarity's transition guide for an idea as to who's worth leveling up/keeping

Whoops. Ok, by MS I'd mean Modern Storm. Sorry for the confusion.

Let's just say that all of the other covers are maxed 2*s or un-maxed 3*s, but the 3*s I'd like to keep for necessary nodes in PvE. I don't think storm has any of those (1*), but she really helped out in that last PvP...

I'm a F2P cheap-o with 300 of 400 HP right now. Hopefully by the end of this PvE.... I think I'll wait. But..... I hate not being able to hit the "sell all" button.

M storm would help you for balence of power and heroics that have her. Daredevils only use would be for th pvp that features him (but you dont want to invest into dd anyways since hes terrible so you can get by with the loaner. The only concern is if he gets featured/required in pve again but since d3 hasnt done that in forever since they probably realized how terrible dd is against goons, i dont expect to see this anytime soon. Id just dump the dd if you cant get a roster slot: either decision probably doesnt matter too much since the times when youd need either character are pretty infrequent, but m storm is probably slightly more useful.

Honestly, get rid of Daredevil. Even when he's boosted, you're not going to want him on your team.

The problem is that you will probably need daredevil for some pve node

I'd say ditch Storm. DD does suck but there is a definate chance he'd be required for some PvE nodes in the future (I guess in theory Storm could be required one day too but I don't think they've ever used a 1* before). It's not like 1*s are rare so even if they do end up running another combined arms style event you can have a cover maxed one in next to no time.

Don't bother keeping storm for balance of power. All you need is Iron Man or Venom.

Venom is fantastic. He just sits behind Daken and uses the purple/black Daken gathers.

I think DD is like playing with fire. He could be so powerful or he could be just useless. I think it's a character without strategy, and he can't help almost in every team composition. Then it's one of those characters cool and add style and mistery.

Personally I don't like playing in that random way, and as I said, he works or not works by himself, and ability and strategy doesn't matter at all. I've threw him 2 days ago, I don't mind in get him by the moment.

By the other side; MS is really useful but light, so, get DD to be cool or MS to at least have an ally on your roster.

Thanks all, for the additional replies.

I'm keeping DD just in case. It took me 2 days to max storm, and as some said venom and IM35 are better. I would hope to get another 100HP by PvE's end; but I'll likely be in the same predicament if I get a fury or something out of one of these tokens.

Yep. I played him a lot when all my characters were around lvl 40 (long time ago ), and breaking him out again now was not only fun, but he works very well with Daken and Sentry or Daken and Thor, or Daken and Patch.
