Copy of the previous main post.
Background: every time a PvE is re-run, I wrack my brain trying to remember the format of the event. Are there subs? How many? How long are the subs? etc. I started writing it down and thought someone else might find it useful. Any input on things I've missed/got wrong/should add is welcome. The developers have changed the format of some of these events; I've noted the differences where I remembered them; otherwise the information below is for the most recent run of the event.

The top 10 players in brackets of 10000 got an event token 10-pack; the rest of the bracket received a Standard token. There were no alliance placement awards.
    • Points are awarded once per node. Nodes are repeatable but only to collect the additional ISO/token/boost awards.
    • Points are fixed; there is no rubberbanding in this event. Scaling is set at the start of the event based on your roster strength. Some individual scaling does still seem to exist as enemy levels have increased during the event for some players.

    • The second path is 2 nodes long; on the first node, which rewards the player a Taco Token, there is an essential 3* character; the second node (a survival node) will award a single cover of that 3* character. A different 3* character will be the essential/reward each day.
    • Taco Tokens contain all of the 2* characters, one of 5 3* characters, 250 HP, or 1000 HP.

    Two things to note:
    1. Heroic: Oscorp has 3 sub events (IIRC, two of them are The Tower and The City.) Each gets reinforcements who can only be used during that sub.

    2. In AvU, two of the five nodes surrounding the Ultron boss fight require the same character, and remain constant throughout the whole event. The other three will change every time the nodes unlock on the 8-hour schedule.

Since you do have DDQ listed, you may want to include the new Crash of the Titans node. icon_e_geek.gificon_e_wink.gif

How often do Events occur? Is there a period of time where they rotate? Is there an order to their occurrence or do they just happen at random?

The PvE week starts on Thursday, and consists of either one seven day event or a fourday event (Thursday-Monday) and a threeday event (Monday-Thursday). I think they try to rotate the events regularly, but since there isn't an equal number of events of each length it may be a while Before certain events are rerun.

can this thread be stickied? even though some info is out of date, I do like to refer to it before the start of each event or when I'm choosing my time slice.

Just a quick question as a still relative-newbie on the back of the latest PVE missions (Deadpool vs MPQ) but does the optimal scoring work the same way for 48 hour events as it does for 24 hours?

4/3 with the 3 at the very end of the event or should I be doing the final 3 after 24 hours and then waiting for the points to regenerate again at the end?

So optimal in 48hr subs is 4 as normal, 1 at 24hrs when the points regenerate,  then final 3 clears as close to 48hrs as you can manage after the points regenerate again.

Thank you! Good to know for this and future events in this format.
