Lightning rounds changes

Lightning rounds are still one of the only element of fun left in this game.. Its fast.. Intense.. Competitive.. And iso rewarding..you can also mix up thing roster wise trying new combinations.. With that said LR are getting stale at the moment.. Only 2 minor tweaks can be done to make it entertaining again..
1. Update with new heroes.. There are no reason for the latest batch of heroes not to be added.. (LT/Bp/etc..)
2. Bracket em up.. Xmen edition.. Avengers edition.. Dark Avengers edition.. Mercenaries edition.. Whatever edition.. The 3 weeks vilain edition for one week heroic is now boring..
Any other idea?

I totally agree. The same villains has been featured since LR started. Heroic LRs was a good variation that was implemented back in Feb/March (?). Definitely time to rotate now.

How about Random edition? A roll of dice on Demiurge's side to feature random heroes/villains? or 1* / 2* edition?

Random super boosted 1 and 2*s would be kind of fun.

Something Francky mentioned in his 2nd idea is a really good way to help freshen the overall game as well....especially to break up the staleness/repetition of Hood/Sentry/Daken.

I think having a variety of team bonuses for using a a set of 3 Avengers/Dark avengers/Xmen etc would be really great.
It could be a simple 15% bonus to health,damage or even AP reduction on powers.
Hell you could even have a "No mans land" special bonus for using an all-female hero team! That would be awesome.

The more this game starts to feel like a boring grind the more I think we need ways to diversify and get creative with events and use our rosters in new ways.

Regardless I agree with any changes that could spark new interest and balance.

I think I'd just like to see them add Lazy Daken and Sentry to the villains and Lazy Thor and Cap to the heroes. Just adding two new ones to the roatation would freshen it up.

I do like the idea of Avengers/X-Men/No Man's Land Lightning Rounds if they were easy to implement it would be great.

Avengers: Falcon, Cap, Fury, Thor, Captain Marvel.
Anti-Hero: Patch, Deadpool, Punisher, Sentry, Panther
Dark Avengers: Ares, Sentry, Daken, Moonstone, Rags

there's so many different combos you can do i don't see why they don't change them, it's a completely different game from when they were first introduced.

I've only played a half dozen lightning rounds, even after scoring top ten you just get a token, which is invariably Bagman. If it were top ten for a specific cover, or big ol bag 'o iso-8 I would be into them. Or something that was quantifiable and real. Having a token is like winning another scratch lottery card, from the scratch lottery card you just won from?

Surely I'm not the only one to get some great tokens for spending all night on a lightning round to unwrap some Yelena rubbish.

Top 8 you get 2 tokens, and 26-50 you get 2 *slightly* worse tokens. So I think the key is to get into the 26-50 bracket

I got a yellow BP yesterday from one of those tokens (at least I think it was one of those, might've been a sub reward), and it covermaxed the dude to 5/3/5, so I have no complaints!

Also keep running LR's 24/7.

These are perfect time sinks when there's no PvE or PvP of interest.
Especially right now when we are between seasons.

Or just make 25th through 9th(?) get one of each instead of just one lr token, one heroic token. Lr tokens are already less desirable than heroics but I'm sure a lot of people jockeying backwards for position wouldn't bother if they still got two tokens.
