  • They have taken our feedback and spaced them out a bit to give some relief. I expect this weekend.

  • Hey devs... pro tip: normally there's only four seasons every year. icon_rolleyes.gif
  • I really don't get the complaint about seasons. They're not mandatory, you don't have to participate in them.

To me, the real issue last year was the sharding and death brackets. If they get those corrected back in line with season 3, I think season 5 will be fun, especially if it's another meaningless reward.

They gave a bit under a week between Season III and Season IV - Season III ended on Sunday night (like Season IV,) and Season IV started the following Friday at 1pm EDT. Their stated reason was that so they could play around with new PVP formats and not have them be a part of the Season proper.

I expect Season V will start tomorrow when the Villians PVP ends.

Probably, more exactly, when the new one starts - there will be the twelve hours of overlap as usual on Friday, if they keep to the usual schedule.

But many people do feel compelled, so as not to hinder their alliance.

I like the seasons for the free progression 10-pack.

I'm still holding on to mine until they update the available characters. But yeah, those are the best part of the seasons, I think.
  • in line with the normal pvp schedule, S5 will probably start 1pm EST Friday so it can end at the usual midnight Sunday

These 2 events are a nice break as you can just do what you want and not really care how it would effect alliance season score (not that those matter much anyhow)

Agreed. Just wish my last 3 weren't 2500 iso packs.

Brackets are not fixed. My poor wife can barely play and PVP anymore because she gets bracketed in crazy groups of nothing but max (and boosted) 3 star cards. She doesn't even have a maxed 3 star herself. Then you have me, who has 3 maxed 3 stars and I consistently get to fight 2 star lvl 94's and lower. I’ve been winning events with 600-700 points and she can barely even start a PVP.

Have her tank a bit then and see if she can get her MMR and such down. Sounds like she sharded in to the wonderful brackets of death!
