Twice now the AI has added a red magnetic flux countdown tile without showing the team up animation first. While it it nice that it is faster I almost kissed it last time.

It this just happening to me?

    Not just you... it won't show the notification for an Iron Hammer, Blast Arrow, or Freeze Arrow countdown either.

    I don't believe it shows it on the regular powers either. I have been surprised by countdown tiles from Mags and Hawkeye more times than I can recall when I am playing on autopilot

    Doesn't show on Bewilder until the tile triggers, for sure.

    Doesn't show for X-Force healing either as far as I know. Just plops a yellow countdown.

    Yeah, I noticed it on Bewilder and Magnetic Flux. It's been reported here as well: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=14016

    I thought these abilities don't show the animation until the CD triggers?

    It's a good thing they play tested teamups and made sure they were in a working state before they released them!

    Its especially annoying when you play against people like those Snipers and Commanders that only ever place countdown tiles down... since you basically wouldn't even notice there was a new one placed by one of the characters till it was too late, then BAM... you're dead...

    Bewilder does not have an animation when placed by you even normally. You only see the animation when it fires. It looks like CDs that have no side effects do not have any animation until the CD fires. For example Escape Plan has an obvious side effect besides the CD (does damage) so you see the animation, but Electric Arrow and Bewilder only places the CD so you see nothing, and indeed it is possible to miss it if you're not paying attention since the AI does it so quickly.
