Any input on who to level next? :3
Hey there!
I'm the leader of a top 100 alliance.
We've been scoring top 100 or better in 90% of all events since season 1.
Through this time I've accumulated plenty of covers and now I'm stuck deciding who should be my focus to max.
Haven't posted anything like this on this forum yet but I'm looking forward to some positive feedback.
Been hording ISO for a week or so now, let's see if I can get some nice direction
Currently I have these max level covers:
166 Black Panther 5/3/5
166 CMagneto 5/3/5
166 Hulk 5/4/4
166 LThor 3/5/5
And here are max covers, not max level:
135 Punisher 3/5/5
125 Psylocke 5/4/4
125 Loki 5/5
104 Patch Wolverine 5/5/3
89 BWGS 5/4/4
81 Torch 5/4/4
79 Daredevil 4/5/4
53 Steve Rodgers 3/5/5
Non max covers/level:
81 Inv Woman 4/5/1
78 Doom 4/5
78 CDaken 4/2/3
77 Sentry 3/5/2
75 Falcon 2/5/3
74 X-Force 5/3/2
70 Im40 3/4/4
70 Nick Fury 1/1/1
61 Spider-Man 5/3/2
55 Deadpook 3/3/1
52 Mohawk 1/1/4
45 Hood 5/2/5
40 Captain Marvel 3/2/1
40 Shehulk 1/1/2
I'm not sure what would be best to level based on what I currently have.
Any advice or suggestions are welcome!
Thanks for reading!

Level Patch and pair him with cMags. Gather red, blue, and green, cast Beserker Rage, and then kill everyone. It's a fun combo and you should take advantage of it before they nerf cMags.0

I know it's a good combo but I already have Thor for green / yellow / red @___@ or hulk for that matter too haha.
I understand it's a good card but I'm trying to understand why he's best to level next. In a pvp with a featured hero I almost always pick Thor/magneto. Looking for a different combo or better combo. Id like to alternate between 2 other cards so I can have multiple team comps.0 -
Black Panther Yellow Black Blue and Thor Green Red and Yellow. Hulk Green Red and Black. Magneto is Red Blue Purple.
Magneto has the lowest amount of health. So I would assume he is down first. So you might want a Purple user when not using Magneto.
BWGS purple can create greens so...
Daredevil uses purple, but he seems to lack in so many things.
Loki is limited in use, even if his purple is fun and cheap.
If you don't care about purple, level Patch, because that healing of his means you can sustain a push and if he gets tiles out and they team with Magnetos Blue attack, its rather harsh.0 -
The benefit to Patch/cMags is that it's a very fast combo. With your Patch at 5 green, you'll get 6 strike tiles. With cMags at 5 blue, you can then take infinite turns until the opposing team is dead. You can use cMags' red to shake up the board and refresh blue (easier at 5 red covers but still workable with 3).
As for team compositions, have you tried running Black Panther & Thor? You could run them and Patch/cMags. You could also pair Patch with Hulk, but that's a little suicidal and works better when Hulk has 5 in black. If you don't want to level Patch, then I'd probably suggest Punisher and pair him with Black Panther. Punisher works pretty well with cMags, too.0 -

I was thinking BWGS but isnt she bad on defense? >.< if that's not an issue or there is a remedy then she seems to be a good contender. I hate that mag is the only viable blue or purple ;____;
I like patch I just don't see him impacting my team as hard due to the current cards I have.
I'm a considering him more now than before because of all those good points.0 -

No yeah I def understand that. I noticed how good it was during the patch event when I ran Thor/mag/patch. Put the tiles up and started mags blue, quite deadly. I just love thors color synergy between spells. I always manage to gather decent ap with mags blue and red.
Yeah I like panther Thor but it depends on who the required hero is haha.
Yeah I noticed hulk doesn't do a whole lot except tank hits when needed to create anger tiles lol.0 -
Definitely Patch then maybe HT. I've had a lot of fun with my Torch if your looking to change it up0

You're at the point where you've already completed your core 3* roster, and any future additions (except Sentry/Daken) aren't really going to add too much to your roster. The strategy that I would recommend is to spread the iso and level characters once they're featured in PvP events to a point where they become a reasonable defensive deterrent. The reasoning behind this is that since your core roster is set and that you don't have any options that will significantly improve your current roster, you might as well just be cost efficient with your iso and focus on building a deep roster so that you always have a strong, featured hero available for boosted events. You might think "what if a strong character comes out that I need iso for", but you have to remember that you aren't going to get the covers for that character anytime soon, and that you can farm the iso for that character as you wait to win the covers.
My current golden number is 133: boosted it rounds up to a nice and even 200, and costs roughly 95k iso, which is a bargain considering how you can almost level 2 characters to 133 for the iso it takes to get to level 166.0 -

Ahhhh
I love this advice!
Essentially it validates a lot of thoughts I've had about my deck.
Daken sentry would be nice but yeah it would require a great deal of effort to max them both.
133 is a good number. I gotta go for that thanks so much for your input0
