Hi! Glad to see you are looking for a new alliance

My in game name is DreamRuiner, member of 5DeadlyVenoms. You may have seen me in PvP or LR or finishing in the top 10 of S1-3 (the Lord of Thunder disaster hit me hard in S4 lol). I have a lot of respect for people who play well & I have been averaging 1200+ in PvP play for the last 2 months.

I started my time in 5DeadlyAlliances in 5DeadlyVenoms, but have played a big role in helping all 7 of our alliances succeed and finish in the top 100.Additionally many in 5DA start in one alliance & get promoted to a different alliance based on their ability. Some people have actually played in 3-4 different 5DA alliances. I know there is lots of talk about us on the forums and I am here to answer questions or clear up misconceptions. We have a lot of fun there and our alliance chat is often said to be everyone’s favorite part of the game & many of our retired members even stay on in the chat room.

Now it is time to get down to the point:
5DeadlyAlliances is looking for some new members to replace our retirees. Several of our alliances have 1-2 open spots right now. Every alliance is top 100 & they are separated by scoring expectations. Our lowest scoring minimum is 650 & our highest minimum is 1000, so we have opportunities for many different kinds of players of varying levels of experience and roster type. We are excited to gain reinforcements for 5DeadlyAlliances from the MPQ community at large. Normally during the season, we tend to promote from within, so high scorers move up to teams that suit their level of play

Alliance expectations:
1) PvP scoring –We have a good internal strategies on how to get 800-1000+ points for any player in 5DA with 1-2 shields at most. We feel that using fewer shields while scoring 800-1200 results in making a great net HP per PvP event. Most of us who have been here for 2+ months now earn enough in game HP to get a 900-1100+ score in every event & buy 1 cover every other week. Not $1 spent ever if that is what you want; we have many players who have spent pretty low amounts ($20-50 total) considering how long we have played.
2) PvE events – The general expectation is to be very competitive in pve. The top 100 alliance cover reward is considered an “expected” reward for every one of the alliances during every pve event. Additionally, in each alliance, we expect players to be at least 50% of the score of the top scorer in the alliance (which is a pretty low bar for anyone that actually tries)
3) FB & in game chat – We expect everyone to answer in game chat stuff (which is generally easy since you are already playing the game lol). We use FB chat for our main chat, our battle chat, & individual alliance chats. Our main chat is shared by all 5DeadlyAlliances (nearly 80 regularly chat) & the battle chat is specifically devoted to PvP strategy and concepts. Additionally, we will be starting a strategy & questions chat for new members to find out various different strategies that we have. Our best players clear 150K iso per week every week.

Our expectations for you:
1) PvP scoring – To get the top finishes that our alliances are accustomed to getting; we will need a 650-900 average per member (depending on alliance you get placed in). Many of us easily blow by that but the basic standard has to be something reasonable for our goals. If you can currently get 800+, we can probably get you to 1000+ within a week, quite possibly to 1100.
2) Roster – You should have at least 3-4 lvl125+ characters, including at least 2 of the top guys (LT Sentry Patch Cmag Hood LD BP). We have some good methods for farming ISO in the game to help w leveling up characters (basically “how to be good in LR” & “what is autotanking? I have heard of tanking but what is this?”). Also we have lots of people who can answer any questions about ideal character builds, roster questions, ISO usage etc.
3) PvE events – You should expect to play seriously for new characters because everyone wants to ensure that we get the alliance cover & that takes everyone scoring some points. For other PvE events, you will be expected to “try”. Trying can be seen in your score. Generally speaking above 50% of top scorer in your alliance is our minimum, but that’s generally never an issue since most of us like getting a good result individually anyways.

We currently have a variety of commanders for S5 that you can reach in this forum: LoreNYC, Stalker7, -JBK-, QuantumLeaper, Ahsan111222, Tbighead21, & DreamRuiner (me).We all handle admin stuff for the various 5DA alliances & generally one of us can be reached for a response right away. Reply to this post & someone will be in touch shortly.

We look forward to meeting you!

Good luck

we are an awesome 140 man alliance, we are friendly, and if you need advice we have a TON of people always willing to give it to you, speaking from personal experience.

When i first joined Poisons in season 3 i was scared....cause the expectation was 900/PVP, which i had been just barely been getting(at the time i only had Cap, Pun, and Thor maxed at 141) but they taught me the ins and outs of shielding proper, going after big targets(pretty much anyone worth 40+ points will not retaliate as you're only worth 3 or 4 to them).

With the things i learned, my season score kept creeping up, till in the last 3 events i got over 1100!. Then i put all that i learned to work in season 4....and my scores EXPLODED....i did over 1100 in every single PVP in the season, over 1300 in 3/4 of them and finished the season 8th in my season bracket. that's merely my story, you gotta make your own story with us, we're friendly, we are knowledgeable and can answer almost any question you have in regards to the game(roster advice, season advice, builds etc). Come join us and we will take you far!(like they did with me)

Can't add much to the excellent stuff posted above, except to say that Toxins currently has 1-2 openings. Requirements are 800 in PvP, and active participation in PvE. Please PM me if interested.
  • Hi there,

I am currently in an alliance, AvengeMe (player name: JBK), but the players are extremely casual (nothing wrong with that style if it's your choice), but I am wanting to be part of something more competitive, social, and fun -- and I don't want to lose interest.

Regarding the main post, I meet all expectations. I am not sure where I would fit in best with your groups, but would really like a change and enjoy the game more than I am now.

If you would like to know more to recruit me, please reach out.

    Regards,
    Jim

Hi, I want to join but I don't have 3 chrs up 125, I have Astonish 141 and Patch 140, but I frequently get top 25 on PVP, making 650 avg. Can I get in?
  • JBK

Please PM me & I will find you a space somewhere. We have a very fun & social group. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
  • I've been with this group for just about a month, and can't say enough at how excellent the team atmosphere is within the alliances.

My game has also jumped to higher levels through great training and tips to play better at the game.

Couldn't be happier being a member of one of the 5Deadlies. If you're looking for a home with people who will treat you right, look no further.
  • Hi. I fit what you're looking for but am not sure You all would fit me, so I thought I'd ask a few questions. How quick on the draw are you guys when it comes to cutting people. I'm sure during the first few weeks someone's got to prove themselves, but after that, when life comes in the way of MPQ, how understanding of that are you guys? If I've got to be away for a few days do I have to worry I'll be cut? I play this game way to much and sometimes get bummed that I'm not always earning those alliance rewards, but I don't think I'd enjoy having to treat MPQ like a second job or always worrying if I can't do XYZ right now and should play MPQ instead or risk upsetting my alliance.
    Thanks
  • Hi Pen!
Thank you for responding! We aren't "quick on the draw" in general. Missing minimums a few times, unexcused 0s (warn in advance is generally ok. Don't play & make excuses after is not ok), too much Friendly Fire are the main reasons for dismissal. If you have played for several weeks & something comes, then we can work with you. We have a mercs alliance for people to sub in for people who need to mis an event for whatever reason. Again this is assuming reasonable requests, like this is occasional. Someone who misses multiple events per month is probably not an ideal fit for 5DA. We understand that real life takes priority & have lots of tools at our disposal to help minimize the time needed to play. Hit me up on PM if you have more questions or are interested in a spot
    Thanks again!
