IRC Chat or Anything Similar

For most collectible mobile games I have played in the past there has been some sort of irc channel or live chat (usually on wikia) for players to talk. I was wondering if there was anything like this for MPQ?

This would be nice. I would be willing to maintain/help maintain an IRC channel, if there isn't anything - I could even find a semi-private server to use.
  • I think that would be cool! I wish I could help but I dont know anything about setting one of those things up.
  • Line

*filler to be able to post*
  • Can you find groups in Line? Or do you just have to set up your own group chat?
  • dont know maybe i havent tried
  • anyway its possible for anyone to invite anyone
so one create a group then ask people to create a account then post then add them into the group
  • Whoever created the room or is already in the room would have to share his line id in forum, change his line settings to Public User ID on. Room can go up to 200 people if I'm not mistaken.

At that point, it feels like IRC or TeamSpeak would be more affective? But I'll check out LINE - I've never used it before (or even heard of it before here).

We just started using line for our alliance as it's much better than thein game chat. The group thing was hard to figure out at first. You have to be invited or search for the user id of the group's creator.
  • I agree that at that point it'd be better to have a public room on IRC. I'll look into how to make an IRC chat room

Some friends and I have an #mpq on a private IRC server. Not a lot of people, but it's relatively active. PM me if you're not annoying and feel like dropping by, I'm not posting details here. icon_e_smile.gif

ChatZilla is a plug-in for FireFox, that is a free IRC client, also.
