Fully covered without being in tokens or buying covers?

After the Webslinger rewards went out I realized I now have a fully covered 5/3/5 She-Hulk without having gotten any covers from the event tokens she has been in, and she has not yet been added to standard and heroic tokens yet. I hit every progression reward that was available for her covers (PVE and PVP), and was top 5 for everything that awarded her, along with a top 100 alliance.

Has this happened in a while, where it was possible to get a fully covered 3* solely from rewards, prior to it getting put into the token pool?

Part of the thing with She-Hulk (I'm in the same boat) is that I think this is the longest we've ever gone between having a character introduced and put in the token pool - she was the fifth character back, but one was a 2*, and another had been unofficially released earlier, so it's been like two months since her debut.

Yeah same here, LDaken was close i had him at 5/3/3 before he got added. I believe i even passed on one of the green she hulk rewards because i knew i wouldn't want that at more then 3. Fury got added to ISO-8 event tokens so that is nice.

Agree, i also find that i no longer really need to use my tokens other then to generate ISO. i am now just hoard tokens like a maniac and waiting until some of the character i do not have cover maxed are add to the token pool (100+ standards and 47 Heroics). I am guessing i am not alone on this and wonder if the amount of unused tokens is keeping player from actually purchasing covers.

Personally, i wouldn't consider buying any covers until i have had a chance at pulling the covers with my existing heroic tokens. I am hoping they add she-hulk (missed top 5 in last pvp by 3 points and didn't get final red...), capt marvel, deadpool and Fury soon to start ripping through my tokens. After that, i would start to consider buying covers as needed.

My She-Hulk is still 1/2/2 because I barely played in the last season; usually play until 300 for the token. I was surprised to see I finished in top 400 in my season bracket with only 5k points. This means there were more than 4600 players with less points than me. The game has become a grind fest and needing 1100-1200 for a top 10, as was the case in many brackets I entered mid/late season, was not fun at all. I am taking a long break from the game not knowing if I will return again, but none of the recent changes seems to bring something good enough to draw me back in.
