Sorry if this has been answered already everyone!!!

I'm sitting on a stockpile of Heroic tokens/packs that I really want to use however I am waiting on the addition of She-hulk and Captain Marvel as I know a lot of you are as well.

Does anyone have any idea when they will be added to the heroic token list or a timeline that is reliable for new characters to be added after release?

Thank you so much for any info and sorry for a boring topic.

  • Add Deadpool to that list as well. Not spending my tokens till it happens.

I don't think anyone has a hard timeline for when they change these things (other than maybe D3) but if I recall they wait to add 3-4 new characters at a time and with their typical release schedule would be every 6-8 weeks. There should now be 4 chars not in packs so I'd guess soon (probably at the start of the next release PvE)...but that's indeed just a guess.
  • Per Will, I think there is a delay because they can't figure out how to not dilute the 3 star draw pool if they just keep adding. Since they have been "busy" "fixing" teamups, it may be a "short time" before they are added to packs.

They already have their solution - split heroes per token types. Fury is now available in the ISO-8 tokens and I have a feeling we won't ever see him in heroics. I hope I'm wrong.

Here's a solution: lower the 2* probabilities. What a novel idea!

Realistically, that doesn't necessarily fix the actual, big-picture problem.

Or they could just remove or lower the percentage for xforce/IW to make room for she-hulk and captain marvel.

Also they could start transitioning the oldest 3-star characters into standard tokens only with a better draw rate....... However I do agree it would be nice to get rid of the 2-star in the heroic packs as they are so common now and can be won so easily in PVP. That would free up a lot of Percentage space too.

Regardless of picking a solution(of which their are many)we busted our backs during seasons and to not be able to enjoy our heroic packs with a better range of characters is very sad.

I feel like this along with many other small issues if fixed...... Could greatly improve morale and reduce the general level of burnout and stalemess many are feeling. A little change can go a long way for loyal dedicated players.

With the disclaimer that along with math, programming hasn't been my forte since the Commodore 64, would it be feasable to run tokens on a tier system of random(ish, I know computers kinda suck at true "random") rolls?

Say, when you open a token, have three separate rolls for a result. The first result chooses 2, 3 or 4 stars (say 80% chance of a 2, 17% chance of a 3, 3% chance of a 4 to stay in line with current heroic token numbers). The second roll is to randomly choose a cover of that star-level. The third roll is to pick a colour for that cover.

EG: I open a heroic token. First roll says "3 star", second roll says "Loki", third roll says "Purple". Or, first roll says "2 star", second roll says "Lol, Bagman", third roll says "Yellow".

    Would that work?

I think the more appropriate second roll would be "F you, Bagman"
