I actually tried to also pick characters that I thought would actually stand a chance to make it in, which I know is contrary to making a wishlist, but whatevs.

1. Troll vote. Mostly.
2. I think Rocket is really the only sensible Guardians rep based off the movie. It's the one that everybody now knows and recognises and wants. If I was actually going for a wishlist, I think someone like Major Victory or Starhawk would be my number 1 pick as first "Guardians" rep.
3. I mean, come on.
4. MPQ dropping the Dark Reign storyline and widening their scope, plus Marvel's change of direction to starve opposing studios of plotlines for new movies, means this guy should totally be a shoe-in.
5. In terms of being able to provide interesting/quirky takes on the game mechanics, I think both Strange and Scarlet Witch should be top of the list.
6. This guy is basically a Falcon reskin waiting to happen, right? Invert colour strengths/powers and away you go.
7. Like Dr. Strange, The Inhumans are basically replacing mutants for the near future. May as well start with Black Bolt.
8. Everyone wants Phoenix, so I hope we get Marvel Girl first.

Shocker was super close to making my list. Would love to have him! Rocket and Dr strange with both be great, akso barely missing my personal list.

Pretty much why I jammed her in my list too. Probability tweaking and/or chaos magic could have a lot of fun mechanics associated with it - or it could become Illusions...

Not many people I can recommend it to now, since I've already made most of my friends read it. I really liked it, would recommend.

Edit: Also, good list. Mystique, Sandman & Red Skull would be fantastic. One question, is Ronan "the Accuser" or did you mean "Ronin"?

The villain from GotG. Loved him in the recent movie with that big hammer. Also need more villains.

On a side note ***** The instructions in the main voting thread for Powerplay a have been edited due to some minor voter error.

My new character list was the Thing 8 times. Shouldn't be a surprise, he's my favorite character, etc. But if I had put 7 more, they would have been:
2. Mr. Fantastic
3. Dr. Strange
4. Annihilus
5. Lockjaw (one of his powers would be to allow a retreat without taking the health hit)
6. Silver Surfer
7. Rocket Raccoon
8. Groot

My buff list was the 3 2-power 3*s, plus IM40 and Spider-Man. The 2-powers just need to be full characters, which they aren't now, and even the best of them, probably Doom, is kind of middling and limited. IM40 and Spider-Man are because they're two of Marvel's premier characters right now, and there's no truly usable version of either character once you graduate past the 1* phase.

I don't know the Marvel universe not having read comics. So mostly my requested characters are the ones from movies.

My buff list is villians plus XForce. I guess it's coincidence, but Doom/Moonstone/Bullseye/2-Daken are all pretty weak relatively speaking. Rags would be 6th on the list. Also maybe just coincidence, but save for Moonstone, they all have only 2 powers. Maybe it's to make the PvE easier, but it'd be nice to have a challenge too.

Many characters need buffs. Many could be fixed by tweaking point costs of overpriced powers. Characters that are considered lower tier, such as She-Hulk and Capt Marvel should get a minor buff. The developers should demonstrate they are able to tweak the game in a positive way.

I agree with needing more villains, also so we aren't always picking up the same murderous aim, aggressive recon team-ups. I also feel (without any great evidence) that the designers are relying too much on metrics when deciding who to buff/nerf. It's easy to see in the metrics when a character is being overplayed, but not when an otherwise popular character is underplayed.

For new characters, I'm really hoping for board changing powers. Simple strike powers are boring. Power of Attorney was a hugely welcome change.

Prior to both Venom's and Classic's nerfs, I thought the web tiles had good potential. I know most people clamor for Black Suit, but I want to see a tankier Spidey.

1. Bag-Man (Dear Lord, re-balance his costs! IW has similar costs, but at least they protect your teammates. Snarky Remark is plain terrible no matter how you look at it, but it's just smash-head-against-the-wall stupid when you compare it to AGV and realize it also affects your team's CDs!)
2. Spider-Man (Purple is good, Blue is OK, Yellow is pointless. Spidey as a healer seems out-of-character. With True Healing in place, by the time you get 12 Yellow, your team might already be ready to use a health pack anyway. Consuming the web tiles is just silly when you need 15 blue.)
3. IM40 (Nerfed by Power Creep)
4. X-Force (This is really a 1* star character)
5. Daredevil (Traps are a good idea. 3 trap skills? Not good. Leave 1 trap skill, let's say Ambush, and make the other ones real actives)

Tempted to put all my 5 buff slots on Storm. I know that many others need it more, but I just want to be able to use her, dammit, she's one of my fav characters. After playing her a lot more the arguments that people tout about 9 AP for 5 or 7 T-U AP being a fair exchange hold no water. Without even getting into the facts that it represents a straight out decrease of damage and board shake from her previous red ability, 9 for 7 is not a great exchange. For the same AP, 2*Magneto creates 5 tiles which, in most cases, allow him to generate 9-12 blue (which hardly anyone can argue is a better colour than white) AND he gets to choose the placement, creating 4 and 5 matches and providing, in the end, more board shake. Yes, yes, I know she's not entirely useless, but boy she could be so much better and still not even be one of the top 3*s.

I think the powerplay thing might lessen the effectiveness if this is intended to give the developers info and not just for fun. For instance, say 100 people voters have John Doe at #8, he gets 100 pts. It takes just 5 guys power playing someone to equal that many points. 5 jokers powerplay Jarvis and the end numbers tell the poll results' viewers they're equally wanted when a group of players 20X as large would have no interest and would be happier with someone else.

Its mostly just for fun. The Powerplay a do a few things though. If I don't add them, people just vote for the same person 8 times anyways. With powerplays I can still count all their votes but it doesn't effect it as much if I would just count count the votes for spot 1-8. Also, it's very very easy to scroll through the 5-7 pages of voting and pick out the powerplays. The devs could interpret the data very easily. Thanks a lot for your input.
