Disarming Traps and Countdowns

I was wondering how I know who to target when:
A team-up is used that sets up a countdown tile. I know that killing enemy heroes does deactivate them (even though the character whose move it is isn't present), but I can't figure out who to target, as it is sort of hit-or-miss.
This issue also holds true for disarming traps. The only one that comes to mind now are DD and Fury.

I also was wondering about determining how to figure out which NPC to attack as well. For example, if I have two snipers and I can take one out, is there a way to determine who to attack to neutralize the countdown tile?

Thanks in advance, and I apologize if the answers to these are staring me in the face...

  • TeamUp are anybody or nobody. Your guess is as good as anybody else's.

For goons, if the damage is the same, whichever one you choose will be wrong. Unless the damage is different, no way to tell.
  • That really sucks about the teamup thing.

However, could you elaborate about the damage thing? How would I use that to determine who to attack?

I am assuming that you are saying:
If there are two enemies of the same type with different levels and if they both have CD tiles of the same time, I can determine which is which because the level will correspond to the respective damage amount? And if they are of the same levels, then I'm SoL?

    Thanks for the reply!
  • I've seen team up CDs stay in the game after everyone on the other team died. I've also seen a case where there was 1 guy left, used a team up that created CDs, and then it got disarmed without killing the last guy. I guess it must have been the ghost of one of the downed guys that made it which I somehow killed again.

That's it. If you click the countdown tile, it will tell you the damage of the attack. If you look at the goon's attack, sometimes you get lucky and it only matches 1 of them.
  • Thanks, guys. Well, I will keep the attack rate in mind for next time. I think there is some possibility of it being of use. I just need to slow down enough to take that into consideration when necessary.

As for the teamup ghost issue, I'm assuming there are still several bugs to work out for this feature. Hopefully there will be a better way in the future to determine who is linked, if anyone is, to the CD tiles.
