Mostly wondering about those last 2 and Psylocke. Probably don't want to level my Hood too much - I don't get much from that. But Psylocke is great and of course I want to further that (keeping in mind though that IM40 is my highest 3*). Magneto is always great but given the incoming - *snort* sorry can't finish that sentence - nerf, I dunno if I want to ISO him up. Steve at 104 could be a very valuable member of my roster - as valuable as Thor or Ares, perhaps. Sentry at 104 is already pretty awesome. GSBW doesn't have a 4th green or much in terms of purple, but she's buffed... I dunno. Thoughts?

Depends on the rest of your roster. Psylocke has always seemed/been mediocre for me since her blue sucks, her red is mediocre, and her black is good but doesnt do enough damage at higher levels to justify using. I personally never use her outside of featured events, and her fucntionality for most people is pushing up to 800 fast with classic daken (in that shes good for speedy clears vs 1*/2* teams, but horrendous vs 3*s) Id personally go for either gsbw or hood: levelling hood is actually useful since bringing a 100 hood is just asking people to attack you in pvp whereas a 150 5 blue hood can make ppl think twice before doing so. Gsbw just because shes featured in the current tournament: shes very good in pve but unplayable in pvp.

Well, I have your standard Thor/Ares/OBWx2/C.Storm/MNMags/Daken 2* mix; then in addition to the characters I mentioned there which aren't fully leveled I have:

- Sentry at 104 (3/4/1)
- Falcon at 91 (2/4/1)
- Human Torch at 89 (2/2/3)
- Patch at 89 (3/2/2)

...And then a bunch of guys capped below 80 that are hardly noteworthy at this point. A friend of mine who is solid 3* recommended capping hood as well. I feel kinda bad about leveling GSBW - she's just not very good at all. I've found Psylocke to be really great (I really like how meaty those strike tiles are) but I can imagine her dropping off a little in 3* range...

Level Hood. It would be nice to keep him lower for other people to tank blue/black, but he needs hitpoints.

Of those Hood is probably the best bet. Psylocke is OK I guess but I've never really found a decent partner for her. I'd say Steve if you wanted a mostly PvE character but without 5 Red that seems kinda pointless.

Hood and GSBW. Psylocke doesn't do enough damage to focus on her. Hood doesn't seem all that great at first, but the higher you get him, the more bad **** he is. His passive move takes away AP from opposition nearly every move! That becomes very helpful when going against more dominant players. And Hood can be partnered with anyone and still be awesome! Steve is okay and would be my third choice of the ones you listed.

Betsy can totally do a ton of damage and she's pretty quick to do it too. Psi-Katana is one of the best black skills out there.

Her main problem is she doesn't really synergise well with many other top tier 3*s.

I would hold off on having hood be your highest level character. You have 5 in Blue so he can go with everyone. You are better off getting Psy up or Lcap. If you have a strike tile generator I would even go with Cmags. Even if it is for 30 days if you get to abuse him you will be able to win a ton of ISO and rewards. Even with Patch at 89 Patchneto will be able to climb against 2* rosters. You can also pair Cmags with 2* Daken so you will spam the board with strike tiles and then use blue.

He can't really abuse cMags, not with 4 blue and 3 red. 4 blue, 4 red, I'd think about that.

4 blue Cmags is honestly good enough to go for near infinite turns. I remember having that for a while and the only main difference was that I had to get to 9AP instead of 6 before I could start going wild.

You might be right. I'm too used to 5-6 blue, a bunch of red = game over. For actual games and not cheesing it, 4/3 Mags might be very helpful too.

Bump. Got the 5th blue magneto cover, whole buncha HT covers, 3 more Patch covers, another few Psylocke covers (albeit not exactly the right ones)... Really liking HT+IM40 as my main team right now. I also have two level 94 OBWs... They used to be a real help but now I'm wondering if I shouldn't sell the redundant one for ISO. I dunno.

Patch + IM 40 are also great, and if your IM 40 also charges blue, you can run cStorm along.
I wouldn't sell the dupe oBW especially with the incoming Heroic event. ISO sellback is only 12500, not enough for anything useful, so only sell if in a dire need of a slot.

I do like Patch. He's a top tier char, I have a C.Mags with covers, and given his status as a reward he's likely to be buffed in the next PvE and have his own PvP pretty soon.
