Heroic 10-Pack Drop Rate

So for the last 3 seasons my pack has always given me 3/10 golds.

Anyone else find the same??

    First got me all 2*s, second got me 2 3*s, both GSBW, and 3* was all 2*s again. I haven't opened my Season 4 one yet; waiting for the next batch of characters to be added.

    It's so ridiculous that they haven't changed heroic packs to all 3- and 4-star covers. With 24 3-stars, there are 70 different 3-star covers out there. It's silly that they are so rare, particularly when we get 2-stars dropping randomly in PVP battles. And it's not like the game gives you that many heroic tokens.

    Raise the price on heroics to 5000 for a 10-pack. That comes to 500 HP per cover in the pack, a deal compared to buying covers directly, but you still would have the randomness of the pulls. That might be worth buying, especially by players who are hung up in the transition from 2-star to 3-star.

    No.

    I've had zero, one, and two, and don't recall which one I hit twice. At least this season's got me a DD cover I "needed".

    I can recall Season 3's drop of 6 gold, 5 of which I needed. Alliance members were claiming I was cheating, of course all made in jest. Season 4 provided me with 0 gold tokens. Many of my alliance members, as well as others in the forums experienced the same results. So, I guess there's really no consistency in token pulls and it looks like D3 may have made some changes in drop rates

    I've gotten 3 10 packs, and I think it was like 5, 6 and then 1 3/4* covers. And that last one, the only 3* I got was Daredevil. Which is great, because if it's going suck, it should suck as hard as possible.

    The 10-pack gave 2x4* and 4x3*. The second gave only 1x3*. The 10-pack from this season gave 2x3*, but there were among the worst covers in the game. Blue Daredevil and blue Psylocke. I was already bored with the game so I was only able to get the progression reward 2-3 days ago, but the covers it gave made me care even less. I am an extremely casual player these days, enjoying the freedom.

    Although S4 did also come with 2 covers for my malnourished *2 Johnny. So that happened.

    Must be nice to have that much luck in the game. I just got my first 10-pack the other day from PvP. I got ten 2* characters; not a single 3* in the bunch. I sold eight 'cause I had the covers already. Pretty sad, but I generally have the worst luck in this game.

    According to the D3 posted drop rates, there is a 79.4% chance that each pull will be 2*, a 18% chance it will be a 3*, and a 3% chance of a 3*. So your pull of 3 golds on each is definitely high, but not absudly so - your dead average pull will be (very) slightly over 2 golds per 10 pack. Point of fact, that's what I got - 3 golds season 1, 1 gold season 2, 2 golds season 3. Average would give me an extra gold over 16.6 packs - so if I'm still holding steady at an average of 2 golds per 10 pack in season 17, I'll be statistically unlucky. icon_e_wink.gif

    Btw, the percentages on the 1 pack are only slightly worse - 83.8%, 14.1% and 2.4% respectively. So you only have an increased chance of 4.4% to get anything other than a 2*. This is the part that is ridiculous - since the cost of the first heroic 1 pack is only 100 hero points, it really doesn't make sense to invest your hero points in anything else unless you're horribly impatient.

    3 golds on s1, 2 golds on s2, 1 gold on s3 and a bunch of **** on s4. I see a pattern here.

    I've had 2 X 42 pack with zero gold, but recently got a heroic 10 pack from season 4 with 8 Gold and 2 human torch 2*, need more evidence not to buy packs? lol

    0-2-0-2 for me. One DD and 13 Bagmans among them.
    I am not too happy about it, tbh...
