Improper display of PvE timer since UI change

Since the points and timer was moved from the upper right hand corner (in android) to the slightly lower left hand area, the statement is only visible as "... IN: 30M 10S" with the left most words being forced off the screen.

Seeing as there isn't enough room for it there, and there was plenty of room in the now-empty upper right corner, why was it moved at all?
