consolidated Team Ups failure thread?

i read the other TU thread with the poll. i did not see a choice to vote to remove TUs.

we players like the illusion of fairness and rules to games. when those illusions are shattered or flaunted in our faces, it isn't fun anymore. i think everyone knows/feels what i mean.

we can accept the RNG of puzzlequest because it works in favor for and against us. this TUs **** however does not. like many other forum members have posted, the AI gives the strong impression that it uses TUs to tip the field against us.

I get it, the developers need to put more damage on us when we play. isn't there another way? i just spent money on this game and i am trying to justify spending more. i want some reassurance and incentive to keep spending and playing more. the entire game is based on progression/collecting and i completely understand nerfs/buffs to mitigate imbalances. TUs in general feel forced, not ready at all, and most importantly a chore.

i know there are other threads, but i just wanted to see if the player base who agree with me could consolidate our voice to reach the developers.

yes yes, i know. if i dont like it, i can just leave.

  • I don't mind the TU's but they have to be fair. Firstly, TU's should be restricted to 3 per player/AI. Whether it's PVE or PVP, it seems that my opponent has unlimited TU's per match. Just played a match in PVP when my opponent used 3 TU's in 1 turn. Which brings me to my next point. If we can only use 1 TU per turn, should be the same for AI. Lastly, If we can't use TU's of the hero's we are actually using in the match, why can the AI? I played a match where i killed cmags first and 3 turns later, the AI is using a cmags TU.

    This needs to change as it is becoming ridiculously one-sided. I get that there has to be some gain for the devs, but can they scale it back a bit? Players are going to start leaving this game if they continue to tilt everything to their side....

    I have never been hit by 4 TUs. Do you know how to see the 3 TU abilities that the AI has available? I ask because many people don't know how to find them and it depends on which platform you are playing on. Poor implementation on the devs part.

    I like TUs, but the devs set it up for a bad reception by releasing it in its current state. They thought that releasing Alliances as an incomplete feature was brilliant (Venturebeat series). Hopefully, they now see why that strategy is a bad idea.

    yes there is, you just cant see the opponents TU's before you start the match.

    The best consolidation is POLL: Team-Up Modifications, with over 2600 votes on 15 possible Team-Up improvements. Within the thread are about 15 other ideas.

    As I said, how the AI obtains and uses TU is a complete mystery to many players. Yes, you can indeed see TUs within match, but unless you read how to do this on the forum, you may have missed that entirely. No wonder some people think that the AI cheats, etc...

    Yep, the OP saw your poll and started a new thread anyway. To be fair, this isn't a thread to improve TUs, but a TU misconceptions/conspiracy theories thread instead.
