So I went ahead and finished bringing my Daken up to 166 and threw some levels into Hood for the last PvE and his upcoming (now here) PvP, but I have no earthly idea where to focus my iso spending now and for the future. Here's my 3* roster (gonna assume no one's going to tell me to put iso into Ares or Baby Torch):

Already Maxed:
166 LT 3/5/5
166 LD 5/4/4
166 Pun 3/5/5

Getting Close:
160 LC 3/5/5
145 cMags 5/3/5
145 Patch 5/3/5

The Contenders:
130 Psylocke 5/3/5
125 Sentry 3/5/5
110 BP 4/4/5
110 The Hood ??? (can build 5/5/3 or 3/5/5, haven't quite decided yet, any thoughts/suggestions? leaning towards 5/5/3 despite having max-covered sentry)
105 HT 4/2/4 (okay, not much of a contender here)
100 Falcon 5/5/3
85 Hulk 4/3/5

Not In Consideration But Here For Completeness:
95 GSBW 5/4/4
95 Rags 5/5
90 Doom 5/5
80 IM40 5/5/2
80 Shulk 3/3/5
78 DD 4/2/4
76 Storm 3/2/3
75 Spidey 4/2/2
70 Cpt Marvel 3/3/3
45 Deadpool 1/1/1
40 Loki 5/5

I expect most people will look and say "level Sentry, duh, he's OP". So, while I still want to hear from you if that's what you have to say, I'm also interested to see if anyone has any other opinions on the matter (i.e. BP seems very good with his yellow buff, or I could use support so should level Hood/Falcon next).

Couple side questions also - Is the 5th black cover for Daken worth purchasing? I'm generally HP positive and will have enough for a cover after a couple days or so. Should I go with 5/5/3 or 3/5/5 for Hood? 3/5/5 seems like it might as well just be called Sentry's Sidekick, so I'm leaning towards 5/5/3 since that plays better with everyone else (and Daken is a fine Sentry sidekick too, and I've already got him maxed).

    level Sentry, duh, he's OP

Also, Hood. I'm waiting on an alliancemate to report back from field tests of his newly respecced 3/5/5 Hood in conjunction with Sentry.

    Also Panther.

Even without the buggy strike tiles he's well worth the effort.

    I got a level 5 Intimidation TU from someone's 3/5/5 Hood icon_twisted.gif
Duh, level Hood - he's the best support guy overall and it's his tourney running atm. Then level Sentry since he needs levels to be his OP self.

Edit: forgot to add on the build - 5/5/3 is the most versatile build for Hood, compatible with everyone and not just Sentry. I run my 5/5/3 Hood with Sentry often and he's needed for those 1-2 yellow/green AP and not for Intimidation although if it does get used, it's a bonus. He also denies enemy abilities, which only depends on 5 blue as well. Intimidation lvl 5 is really, really only needed for the extreme shieldhoppers that don't intend to use Hood much in PvE where yellow is a life-saver. If you leave yellow at only 3, it would **** the ability seriously and make it a non-option for almost all cases, and it's not exactly a bad ability, quite the opposite (18 AP + enemy tiles elimination + cascades).

BP is a really solid choice now. High health, good strike tiles, good AOE attack. Hood's great, too, but you don't really need to have him maxed.

I'm also going to put in a vote for Falcon. lazyDaken + Falcon = ridiculous strike tile damage.
