So after reading basically all of every thread about the hunt in every section of the forum, I e seen a ton of complaints/ideas/suggestions/etc etc etc

The 1thing that every1 seems to agree on is that the hunt was an amazing event that need a few small tweaks.

A minimum value per mission:
My personal opinions being 1,3,5,7 as bottoms points by difficulty (tends to be about 4 repeatables.

A maximum amount of points you can get from rubber banding.
My personal suggestion is around 800. I would want wvwry1 to have to compete at least 3 times in a 24 hour period.

P.S. IceX,
I know you said EVERY word written on this forums was read. The amount of posts between 1-4pm (EST) today was tremendous and if your "work" (I'd love your job, lmao!) is reading them all then you prolly are gonna have 1 "miserable Monday"

    one miserable monday indeed lol
  • Agreed with assessment.

Haha, one thing though: it's IceIX ("Ice-9"), and not IceX, presumably after the doomsday material from Kurt Vonnegut's "Cat's Cradle".
(I too had been skimming the alias as "Ice-Ex", until I realized the reference. Good book. Check it out... icon_e_wink.gif )

Yeah now we can symphatize, no wonder he didn't want to do the forum duties to begin with.

It's only going to get worse as the game gets more popular

Or unpopular, if you look at today's events icon_eek.gif

Lol that's for sure. In the last 2 weeks this forum has gone from "hey awesome game but here are my suggestions" to "I'm not spending a dime on this game"

I wouldn't say last two weeks. It's progressively been getting worse since they raised the prices of cover slots and kept braking tournaments. I think the first one was juggernaut losing his buff making him less than useful at the end of that tournament.

Over time more people will be fed up with how the game is run as opposed to giving the devs some slack.

I enjoy the game for its core gameplay more than I dislike how it's run so I'll stick around as long as the game is fun. Once again though, I think that a little testing and simulation would go a long way to prevent all the problems from hitting the masses and triggering the well justified rage. They run this game like a beta but take people's money as well.

To be fair this isn't even a two sided issue. Either people are paying for a game that is being run like a beta or they aren't. Everything else from today aside that is a decision the players make, not the devs.
  • You forgot that the consensus is it was just to long

You're right. Also, it does say 'preview edition' so they're not even making a claim that it's a finished game.
  • My intent with the new thread as I should have mentioned was to kind of get away from the other more negative threads.

I have no hate for the devs at all. As I've stated elsewhere (for the most part) they are typically better than your average mobile gaming devs.

It is being ran like a beta more so than most (though all mobile games tend to run like that in their 1st up to 6 months from personal experience. They are being very innovative however and I don't think that money spent is necessarily money wasted in this case. The game has provided a lot of entertainment until this point and once this early progression phase has ended we very hopefully have a solid game, that even today's noobs will have an advantage in in upcoming months. The people that start 6-9 months+ in will have a lot more difficult time. The only real questions are how long can people keep their hopes up and most importantly, what is the devs next move. I don't think the next tourney will show much advancement but I'm hoping to see amazing things coming in January.

I dunno I'm missing the daily huge infusion of tokens, ISO and (some)HP myself.
