I don't get it

Ok so i've been grinding pretty hard for the deadpool event. I'm been doing pretty much the same as i have done before on the odd occasion i really want the reward and grinding every single node to 1 point from start to finish yet this time i am finding i am so far behind the leaders i don't understand.

In the 2nd/final event i have 13261 while number 1 has 18886 (i am number 441). Overall i have 31675 while the leaders have 34525. I was a couple hundred points away from the leaders after the first event but now i am thousands away? I don't get it.

Why would you grind nodes to 1 point?

You should read this. Never grind to 1 point in PvE. Clear every node once every 2:30 will get you the maximum points!
  • If you grind nodeto 1 point then you are doing it wrong.

Try playing every 2.5 hours next time.

    A) They sleep less; and/or

    B) I believe the smart way to play is to beat all the nodes, then let them get back up to full points, then beat them again- NOT beat them all down to 1 (unless it's the last refresh or unless you're going to not be playing for so long they'll all be back to full by the next time you play).
  • Ive been grinding to 1 point forever. It usually gets me top 10 easy. This event just seems different to me. Dunno.

    A) What is this sleep thing?!?!

When the 2nd event started i did all the nodes back to 1 point right away and noticed that someone was 1000 points ahead of me. Seeing as we started at the same time i don't understand how they managed to get those points.

You probably were in incredibly easy brackets, and now your roster's improved enough that you're against people who at least know not to play that horrifically suboptimally.

Pretty sure the rubberbanding is based on the global leader in the main, not the sub. So he likely had a lower overall score going into the 2nd sub, and his nodes were worth more to grind.

Grinding to one point sounds awful. Your scaling must be a nightmare.

I have a bunch of 166's and I rarely see enemies above 200. You'll do yourself a favor if you don't grind to 1. All you really gotta do is hit everything twice every now and then.

Playing every 2:30 nets you the most points, but having that much of a commitment isn't really necessary, and I couldn't see it being very fun.

Probably because your strategy is so inefficient, you've been benefiting greatly from rubberbanding. 40% of this event had zero or minimal rubberbanding.
