Additional features to an already great game

Hello All,

I've been playing this game a little while now and i'm loving it. But as you do whilst intently playing a game I have spotted a few features that I think would be a great addition.

Alliances
• Community is half the reason that I play games. I play with a lot of friends in this game but I don't feel that I'm really involved in their game playing fun. I cannot share in their successes .
On the alliance screen there should be a page of the successes of its members (5th place in PVE, 12th place in PVP etc..)
• I think the addition of a personal development system would be good. Giving players Marvel points for games played or cards upgraded or positions won etc. These could lead to rewards of any kind imaginable, profile skin upgrades, card upgrades, gold, crystals etc..)
• A personal profile page with a choosable avatar. With a list of their achievements and previous 'wins'.

Characters
• There are now so many characters that most people with lvl 2's, 3's and 4's have had to delete their 1's which I personally think is a shame. When people hit a certain 'level' (see other suggestions) they should get lvl 1 card slots for free.
• Characters should be placeable into 'teams'. This way you could quick select on the game screen which 'team' you want to put up against the competitors. For example, there are 5 colour types and so I want to have a maximum coverage of these types focusing on blue and red. I could team up Wolverine (Astonishing X-Men), Storm (classic) and Hawkeye (Modern). The 'team' viewer would then show me that I have a weakness because black and yellow* is not used by any of my chosen characters but blue and red is used twice. (*Whilst yellow is 'used' by storm and wolverines passive they are not actually consumed in the use)
• Characters should be 'filterable' by the colour that they use for easier selection (into teams or on the normal selection page).

Teamups
• The ability to delete unwanted teamups.
• On teamup selection screen, show how many points it will take to be able to use that team up.
• Order the team ups by the number of points it would take to use the team up power.

People have been asking for more metrics/data for a while and they've come slowly, but I wuldn't hold your breath.

This would be hard to implement and not likely to generate much in the way of revenue. Profitability is what drives new feature/character inclusion.

This would be awesome, but would likely take a lot of work and time away from profitable features.

Never going to happen. Slot purchases are a big part of their revenue stream IIRC.

This would be awesome and I'd be surprised if they weren't working on something like this already. Likely not as detailed, but similar.

May come if they implement teams. I'd love to see more organizational options.

Confirmed coming in r59 or r60.

    Possibly coming with delete feature.

Also possibly coming with the delete feature if not at all.
  • Thanks for the detailed response. As a developer myself I often find other peoples feedback invaluable because they show the way that value can be added into a game that may not necessarily direct instant revenue into a system but adds 'added value' in terms of the interest of the users.

I note that you say that some of the features I describe are unlikely to be implemented (like the free level 1 card slots) but as a new(ish) player (compared to most) I have had to delete level 1 cards to make way for the 2's 3's and 4's but I'd still love to have them despite their lvl 40 cap.
I'd say that is an 'added feature' for me, i wouldn't spend money to keep them so they would never generate revenue from me for it, but i have bought spots to get 3's and 4's (if you see what im getting at).

I love the story that they have put into the game and the characters etc. A part of me misses having them in my roster, thus why it made my suggestion list.

In regards to difficulty, I had more difficult ideas to implement that I kept from the list, I don't believe the developers would have much difficulty in creating these features should they chose to do so.
