Is Nick Fury's Demolition bugged?

I was fighting a level 87 Nick Fury in the latest PvE event, and I had the misfortune of triggering all 7 Demolition squares (each dealing 876 damage). It subsequently downed my entire team (Level 198 The Hood, 6044 HP; Level 168 The Punisher, 6862 HP; and Level 125 3* Wolverine, 5158 HP).

Now, I figured that when it meant "simultaneously", it meant all damage would go to one target no matter their HP, but it could have meant that the remaining squares would hurt the next hero in line. That's fine. The thing is, though, while I don't remember the exact HP values for my team before they died, I'm positive that both The Hood and The Punisher were in excess of at least 2k HP each at the time, and Wolverine had in excess of 4k HP. Even with 7 traps all going off, the numbers just don't add up, and the power doesn't explicitly state it affects the entire team. Am I missing something here?
