Thor yellow power eats only team up tiles?

I took a long break, so i tried a few matches today on the cage match vs thors, and whenever he managed to use his yellow power it produced green tiles were the team up tiles were, that made some **** maxi chains.
I read some patch notes but i didnt find info if thats new or something.

Thor's ability only replaces basic tiles, which includes team up tiles. It can be luck or maybe you had some ability like Hailstorm that was clogging up most of the normal basic tiles. Since TU tiles can never be special they're more likely to be converted on average.
