Doctor Doom 10X pack.. what did I just buy?

I just spent $20 on a "10X" pack assuming I was getting more than 1 item due to the TEN EX label. I got a single blue Dr. Doom cover.

I know Abuelo said earlier he got 5 dooms. Not to be pedantic, but did you double check you spent 3000 HP, not 300? I would start a support ticket in game and also email mobilesupport@d3p.us see here

I am in the same boat. Had I known it was just a 'guaranteed Doom', I would not have bothered, 'cause he's not worth it. I feel maybe they have not quite got it working properly, since that's how the guaranteed covers used to work.

Same thing happened to me but Misguided is right, just send an email. From what I've heard the support staff for this game is excellent and I have no doubt they'll get it sorted out.

You all are mis-reading the pack description. It clearly states that you will receive *one or more* doom covers.
This means you may receive 1. For all know it could scale up to 10, obviously you can get at least 5. My suggestion is be more cautious before jumping into a purchase. Everything seems to be working correctly. It's a gamble, some win some lose. Afraid to be bearer if bad news but you lost

Uhhh noooooo why would that deal even exist???? I could have spent 300x10 on 10 covers. There's a chance to get more than 1 Doom cover, one is guaranteed, then 9 chances for more Doom covers but you should get SOMETHING. There's no way they would set up a deal like that.

The timing is unfortunate though, being close to the weekend and the doom tournament. Maybe IceIX will see this thread and get word to CS, as this is a pretty serious problem. I know I'd be unhappy about it. The support staff is good, though, so hopefully it can be addressed soon.

Why call it a ten pack if it's only a 'chance' to get ten? If that's the official answer from D3, I'll be requesting a refund or calling the bank for a chargeback.

Yeah it's a pretty bad deal if you didn't understand it. With a lot of complaints they may lower chances at getting doom in trade for some less desirable covers added in but it's 1250 to level a doom skill and you pay 3000 and get 8 I bet you would be having a very different extreme if emotions (which a lot of people are ATM) and that is why the deal exists. The problem here must be it wasn't communicated clearly enough. I'm sure the support team won't leave you hanging if you feel that ripped off.

So wait..is it a pack where you get anywhere from 1-10 dooms? For 3000 coins that means getting 3+ dooms is technically cheaper than buying skills. 2 and you lost coin. 1 and you got hosed. I cannot see the wording but it shouldn't say 10x anywhere. I can see this being an issue for customer support and I am not sure why they would make a pack like this as its asking for problems. The pack should give you 10 covers where it gives you either a doom or a 1* for each. That way you can actually see the fact you had 10 chances for the doom instead of feeling an erroneous charge was made.

True true, hopefully it doesn't affect anyone too badly this weekend. I figured I could upgrade doom twice for 2500 or take a shot with this deal for 3000. Fortunately a black Doom is the one cover of the ten I received so that gives me a fighting chance this weekend (4/1 Doom now). Knowing my luck the rest would have been Daken and Bullseye anyway!

The title of the deal says "Doctor Doom And Villains". To me, this implies that you will get 10 villain covers, with one guaranteed to be Doom and the possibility of more than one Doom cover. The 'deal' is that you get a guaranteed Doom for spending 3K hero points. That's how I read it. If it was a gamble, it should read 'up to ten', not 'ten pack'.

Yeah pretty much. It's a great concept for a new pack. Tremendous potential reward.
Problem in displaying it properly to buyers.

10x pack is contradicting to the rest of the text / actual contents.

Let's think about this though. If you get 1* or DD you are gonna get lowered doom chances. So with only 1 DD you are really only losing 900 ISO in covers to be sold. The pack itself is great just a huge gamble in bad packaging.
