Hit point cap for Heroes/enemies

I don't mind when scaling makes the enemies damage be absurd or when boosted heroes in PvP do obscene damage.
But seeing as this is a pick-up-and-play type of game you really don't want to engage in 20 min battles because the opponents units have 15-20K hit points each.
I'm wondering if it might be in order to introduce a hit point cap, especially now following the level boost to all characters. Maybe cap it at 15K or 18K. Anything beyond 18K becomes stupid and makes battles dull.
Just a thought I wanted to throw out there.
