Lcap VS HT, Who's worth to level up?

Rogers is an absolute beast in PVE. His tile-overwrite ability on both red and blue generally trumps the raw damage output of a properly prepped (read: get lots of green before using his green) Torch.
Neither is "worst" in PVP. I'd say they're both midtier in PVP.0 -

I mean both of them are very easy to be defeated by other players.
How do u think that who is much deadly one without powered-up in PvE?
I want to defeat enemies so fast.0 -
Capn is a PvE all-star. Pair him with IM 40 who feeds red (maybe blue too), oBW/Hood, and he will benefit more than anyone from AP acceleration.
My first world MPQ problem with him: when buffed, he hits too hard.0 -
Lazy Cap makes PvE his **** so if that's what you're focusing on it's where I'd squirting ISO.0

I usually pair him with maxed daken and hood.. and he does nothing... his only useful one is red.
I have maxed sentry Ldaken Lthor and hood.
I just have no idea how to use Lcap.
Do I need to max out Lcap covers first?
or just go with HT and pair HT with hood and Ldaken?0 -
Well, you asked who was better in PvE, and Cap is better in PvE hands down. Torch might be a little bit more preferable for PvP, but his abhorrent health should make him even with Cap.
Cap is easy, if you pair him with IM 40, oBW or Hood, or any 2 of these three. You will lose out on green, but it shouldn't matter much as you will be stunning green users or outright murdering them. His blue is also great to delay a dangerous opponent... You need 5 covers in both blue and red to be able to overwrite enemy special tiles which helps immensely against goons or strike tile users or the Hulk.
Sadly Daken/Hood/Cap is less than ideal because you have no use for green yourself although you want to match it, and Cap hits hard enough not to need any strike tiles from Daken, and his blue is generally more preferable to Daken's unless you can finish someone with Chemical Reaction.0 -
I won't need to repeat how Lcap is an all star pve.
I will also add that he's also fairly useful in pvp on offense. With 1 RY boost, he needs only 3 red matches to get his engine going. Compared to other heroes who can only use their ability once, Lcap red shield is very efficient.
He is not the best in pvp, but he's not that bad either. Hrs also better than HT on defence as he has better health and his red hits hard and his blue can delay.
I will definitely choose Lcap.0 -
Do you have your LazyCap at 3/5/5? If not, you may not be able to see the benefit yet. But once he can overwrite any tile with his red/blue, he shines.
LazyCap and Hood have been getting me through the ridiculously scaled matchups in the PvE. Collect red, blue, and black ap, cast Steve's red and blue, and then Hood's black to get that red and blue AP back faster.0 -

Another thing to consider is that HT's second-best ability is on green, which is the same color as Sentry's and LT's best abilities. Rogers red and HT red are comparable in the mid-term, but Rogers adds a blue stun that has no downside (unlike HT black's general AP drain). In PVP, the AI does not wait till you get a lot of green before using HT green. So, not only will it probably use HT green instead of one of your heavy-hitter greens, but it'll use HT green before it's stocked up a lot of green, which makes HT green worthless.0 -

I just made his cover 1/5/5 and tried him in PvE, the benefit was awesome !
I thought he is slow so didn't like it but with hood's black It wasn't slow at all.
I think I made a good decision. Thanks everyone.0 -
The thing about LCap is that once he gets the AP to stay tossing his shield, it's just a matter of time before whoever is getting hit is going down. It feels entirely unfair of you end up with enough AP to do two red tosses close to each other. The added benefit is that it's hard to get that AP stolen once used as well.0
