    Good to know icon_e_smile.gif

I would suggest to only level a few of your other characters to save ISO for when you get better covers, since you seem to be getting some of the best covers extremely fast.
That's why I started this thread. I don't want to spend too much ISO on characters that I won't use in a few weeks. Although with events like Bad Is Good there is always a reason for upgrading unused chars.

Everyone else gave great advice too
That's what I like about this community. I'm a big fan of the Puzzle Quest series and see myself playing this for a long time. A big thanks to everyone who gave their input!
  • Personally, I would finish C.Storm. When used properly, she is a powerhouse. Her yellow passive was just icing on the cake, but it's her green/blue abilities that make her shine. I'd aim for 5/5/3 final product and continue to pair her with Thor. Wolverine is a great choice. The only thing I really don't like is the redundant overlap of colors using him with the other two. I usually try to use him as the main tank on a secondary team while my primary is down and/or healing. Given what you have, Dr. Doom would probably be the best choice. Though, Venom wouldn't be a bad third character given his AP is purple/black, neither of which you have. I know you don't have him, but he comes so often through Recruit Tokens, it wouldn't take long to make one at your pace. Though he is only 1*, he has a decent hit point pool and his stun procs pretty frequently.

And one more thing about Wolverine. Free healing. Never waste a heal on Wolvie (unless in last 10 minutes of a tournament or something). He takes ten minutes to revive if downed. Then jump into a low pve level and let him heal up. It may take two times through and easy level, but he'll be at full health in 5 minutes. I can't express enough how much I love this guy

FYI, best level I've found for this is "Not the red one" in the HAMMER missions -- once the middle guy is down there's no threat at all. The real issue is making off-color matches so you don't kill them too fast; but I can usually heal full from <100 hp in a single go through.

I'm still trying to find the best level for using Spidey.
I like one of the venom missions, since he'll put webs on the board for you too, and then you can stun lock him easily since he's alone
  • make another thor
  • Since no one actually answered your question, Florida is nice this time of year.

If I could use them together I would. icon_rolleyes.gif
  • So Lightning Rounds started and my plans of leveling Wolvie first went right overboard. I pumped my remaining ISO into Dr. Doom and managed to finish top 8 in his round. He is now LVL 50 3/4 and i don't regret a thing. Buffed Doom is a Monster, even at this level icon_e_surprised.gif

After Lightning Rounds are done I will focus on Wolverine. Thanks again for all the help!

You're going to be a sad kitty if villain lightning rounds stop and you're stuck with a mediocre unbuffed doom
  • Maybe, but I think the investment was worth it. Got a heroic token from last Magneto round and promptly pulled out Grey Widow's green Cover. Even if I end up only using him during Lightning Rounds, that's still fine by me. I also have almost made back all the ISO I spent on Doom today.

At high levels, unbuffed Doom isn't mediocre, and I think his attack tiles work well with Wolvie's strike tiles. He's an investment to be sure, but 100+ 5/5 Doom is no joke.

2 days out of the week will be rampage days, I guess. icon_e_wink.gif Grats.

Anybody at level 100+ is no joke. But doom is only better than hood and loki for 3* characters IMO
  • Hood is a support character, he makes your other characters better. Ragnarok being fed by the Hood is really good, add Mags and you have a recipe for sadness.

Anyone ever wonder what happened to that Dormammu guy?
