Impossible versus Impossible

Ok, first of all, this is not a whining post. I am really curious as to why there is such a desparity between different tasks labled as Impossible?

For an instance take any of the tasks labeled impossible in The Hunt but are really just harder and the last one with the 230s which is a lot closer to being impossible.

I guess to me impossible means just that. Unless the game bases it on the current characters you have, which would be cool, and would make sense I have a long way to leveling wise.

    I think it is based on the strength of your roster. I have started another playthrough on the PC beta and had a go at the hunt last night. Virtually every mission is coming up as impossible, hardly surprising when I'm sending in the default IM 40 at level 9, modern Hawkeye at level 6 and 1* BW at level 11. Except they are not impossible because I beat all the main hunt missions bar the last one and a few in the Florida and Savage levels. Challenging stuff!
