Who to Level Next...

This is my roster of 3 & 4 stars worth mentioning...

Punisher - lvl 166 - 13 Covers
Hulk - lvl 150 - 12 covers
X-Force - lvl 140 - 8 covers
Doom - lvl 100 - 9 covers
Hood - lvl 94 - 7 covers
Falcon - lvl 93 - 8 covers
Patch - lvl 91 - 12 covers
LThor - lvl 89 - 8 covers
IW - lvl 87 - 5 covers
IM40 - lvl 80 - 13 covers
CMags - lvl 69 - 6 covers
Psylocke - lvl 68 - 10 covers
Loki - lvl 65 - 5 covers

Yesterday I got the 13 cover for IM40 who I don't consider great by any stretch, but it made me wonder, sh9ould I levle him to 166 since I 'can' or just hold off and work on Patch? I've been getting beat up by lvl 166 teams, so part of me feels I should work on getting more max characters just to stay a float longer, but I can't lie - while I odn't like Patch either, he seems much stronger than IM40...

Patch is about as strong compared to IM 40 as Ares is compared to IM 35.
I used to hate on Patch, too, now I'm a fan...

IM40 is probably still worth chucking some ISO at any - he seems to be buffed fairly frequently for PvEs.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure my head was on right. IM40 is buffed fairly a lot it seems, so it doesn't feel wasted, but its not like 3 stars are cheap.

Well if u have use for it the yellow power if done right can make your team overload with red and you should do good but ya IM40 has his flaws ..health and how long it takes to use any power (but if you get off blue you can finish some matches ..red takes your other colors too though) ..

You can tell he was an early 3 star character .

It's insane how expensive his powers are TBH... Blue at 20 and drains 2 from each AP, so you either have to plan around or hope this is a winning blow... They really need to re-evaluate his power cost IMO.

IM40 with 2-3 yellow can work really well with Patch especially when the essential character is not leveled so high. 10 yellow can help you get Patches green and red. Becuase in40 also stuns himself it makes TBTI even more of an instant kill. IM40 with punisher could also let you get off multiple retributions in short order as well. Patch is definatly the better character, but IM40's large health and AP generation can help in climbing in PVP.
