Health points, not Health Packs

I think it would add a lot to the game if instead of the generic health pack, if there was a pool of health points you can refill from.

Set the initial pool at 24k health points. Then charge the 50HP for an additional 4800, or 200HP for 24k, same rates as current. Rather than having a bulk replenish in 35 minutes, instead it could replenish at the rate of 120 points/minute (2 per second). This changes the full replen from 40 min from 35, but at a rate of 2 per second, you get constant replenishment.

This benefits the newcomers, as low level characters have fewer health to replenish, and can stretch 24k longer. It also adds strategy later on, as you can actually choose whether to bring your character from the brink of death to 100%, or maybe risk bringing him back to 50%.

For veterans with big health guys like LThor or Hulk, offer a one or two time permanent boost to the pool. Say, 1000HP to double everything (reserve pool and refresh time).

Or maybe different levels of health packs, like shields? Band-aids, first aid packs, adrenaline shots...

And really, does completely recovering a downed character with one health pack represent "true healing"?

Annnnd now you've done it. Next patch reviving a downed character will take 3 health packs and a 1000 iso tax.
