You've hit the nail right on the head. It's not hard. There's nothing hard about it. But when your victories are propped up by spending many times over what even the next closest group are they just aren't terribly impressive. I personally don't really care. I don't shoot for winning my bracket because I have no interest in throwing money at the problem. Someone else will, and that's fine. They pay for my entertainment and I'll take my top 5 placement that didn't cost more than my rent. But when you're flaunting your spending habits by going so far over what seems reasonable to the grand majority of players you have to expect there's going to be some blowback. You can take the attitude that they're all just jealous haters, but to them you're just buying wins at their expense.

Most people play to win prizes. You're buying wins to earn prizes you don't need by spending more than the prizes cost. There is a disconnect there. So do what you want. Play however you want. But you are going to be judged by your actions, and blatantly buying wins isn't going to make you popular with all the poor unfortunates watching you through those country club gates.

Whether we go to 1300 or 1900 does it really effect you? Regardless we will still be at the top of the leader board. It's commonly know x-men is competing with 5dv for top of alliance leader boards. The biggest effect we have on the community is our high scores making progression rewards easier for everyone. Let's talk about a few different things going on here.

They have members who climb just as high points as we have, just not as many members. These members of theirs do do climb even 1/2 as efficiently as some of us do. I seen then out hopping. They also have huge spenders.

When we rise our points to 1800+ it allows us to spread our power to both our top 2 alliances and keep our lower spending members with a decent hp return. A similar strategy that shiekd has always used up until hp returns were reduced and they could not sustain their play the way they had been. They spent early. Got huge advantages. Rewards were immense early. They easily did every pvp on top with hp profit.

X-men formed while there was a 2 way fight for the top 2 with the top rewards tier being 1-2. X-men became the 3rd competitor for the 2 spots, created a competition. 5dv had horrible leadership, klingsor was an idiot. They can also be pretty high strung at times as you can see by how many of their big members are unhappy and always lashing out at every1. Shield decided to cut back some and go more casual. They lost their free ride at the top and didn't wanna spend anything so they settled into 3rd/4th and even said themselves they didn't wanna contend anymore.

Here at x-men we became a very easy going, fun loving group. There hasn't been any drama here since jonny1punch left. We joke and have fun a d kinda live in our own little world. I come on the forums every day and I see people talk about being miserable. People quitting and saying the games dying. I never would have noticed if I hadn't come to.the forums.

Wr joke around about ****. Do little things like the shielding at 105 to fk with people. When people post these pics it's like our little inside joke just got confirmed to have succeeded. It's making things kind of fun even.

I get people are pissed off because they aren't being able to compete for all the top prizes. But all the x-men are doing are having fun, enjoying our free time, and playing the game we like to play. Many people out there are the types of people that play to win, else there wouldn't be so much x-men hate. We just assembled a lot of people who like to play to win in 1 spot and we all hit it off. So if we wanna send $50 or whatever any1 else spends per month, not my business, why does any1 care. Go **** at some1 who spends $1000 a month on drugs or some1 who deserves it. Not a group of nerds with a massive bunny army set out for a good time.

If you want us to play the game differently, get D3 to change the game to where it's plated differently. Take out boosts so we can't sentry bomb people. I hope the hell shields don't go anywhere. If you were around before shielding you would know how miserable that was. Complete lottery in the last 5 minutes with no real where to secure any kind of rank. If you weren't on for the last hour. You were screwed and there was no guarantees. But there's no reason to hate on us just for playing the game the best we can within its parameters. Don't hate the player. Hate the game. But there's no reason to even hate the game. Just don't worry about what every1 else is doing that you aren't doing. Just enjoy the game how you want to enjoy it. That's what I do. If I wanna go to 1600 I go to 1600. If I wanna go down to 1100 for a few tourneys then I can. If we need bigger points than 1100 and I don't want to we have alliances where I can sit and score 700 and have just as much fun hanging with the group.

We would gladly welcome competition also. Let shield and 5dv and all the other top 10 or 15 merge to a super alliance. Bring everything you got. Competition only makes the game thar much more exciting. But if you don't wanna put the extra effort into top competition like we do, then play the game casually or however you like to play it. Just have fun and don't make playing the game so stressful. You don't like pve? We don't care if u get 0 in pve. You enjoy pve? Join a pve alliance and just do what you want. There's a million ways to play the game.

HP cannot be converted back to money so burning HP isn't quite the same as burning money once you made the decision to acquire the HP.

People have the whole alliance advantage backwards. It's not that having 100 guys give you an advantage because you can avoid hitting each other. It's because having 100 guys gives you a much better chance to hit your own guys. Retaliations are something you owe and you want your friends to be holding the debt, not your enemies. As long as your own alliances holds most of the retaliations, it's trivial to ensure they'd never be collected at a time where you're not shielded.

This is where I call ****. X-men are not spending more thier using flaws in the system. Once you get past 1200 or 1300 there is no other players of equal rank so it goes back to low level teams you were fighting before 600 if you tank. Which about every other person does. But its not thier fault its the developer.

And that's perfectly fine. It's your money. If you wanna go spend on mpq or a few new books or a dirt bike or to go out to the movies. Who gives a fk? It's your money. Do what you want with it. I can score 1500 every single pvp if I want and you know how much it costs? Less than going to dinner and a movies with my wife 1 time. It's not that expensive.
