Just wanted to let out a few tears as an AI controlled MMN just singlehandedly demolished my team. We're talking perfect locations when using purple to make blues to either make Crits or worse cause 10+ match cascades and "randomly" placing his countdown tiles as far as physically possible from any potential matching. /golfclap

    Last days had a few activations of MN and gsbw, all the usual random as ever before.

    Though I was actually annoyed for iron hammer going off without chance to prevent and ate my sentry sword and other goodies. icon_e_smile.gif

    I've actually seen GSBW being somewhat intelligent for a change in the last couple of days - nowhere near what a human could do but she was at least placing the tiles to make 3 and 4 tile matches. Enough so that one of my tank teams actually met the business end of her sniper rifle.

    Sounds like bad luck. Just yesterday I had MNMags Polarity Shift into a board chock full of blue tiles and the result was a big fat zero blue matches. The AI then proceeded to match four enviro tiles for a net gain of exactly one blue. Good job.

    I don't really buy into anything having changed lately. I could be wrong, but I haven't seen any of this new rise of the machines behavior yet. Sometimes you're going to get outliers, **** happens.

    Yeah, just bad luck. I've noticed no change in AI behaviour recently - possibly some luckier cascades at a push but nothing in terms of better tile placement. Hell, I've just had a match where I virtually fed the opponent GSBW purples so she could make some greens for me.

    What is actually a shame, both MN and GS would deserve a buff and sensible use of purple would be a perfect one all the way.

    Not to derail this thread (but I'm going to do it anyway icon_razz.gif), a reasonable case could be made for MNMags as the worst defensive PvP character in the game above the 1* level. He is just stupid. At least GSBW has the looming specter of Sniper Rifle going for her.

    More to the point, it would not be unreasonable if these characters actually could consistently use their purples to make matches. The fact that the AI just can't use certain characters at all does not make the game better. Roster diversity? If it means being a pinata on defense, I'll pass.
