You have been attacked!

Is there any limit to how many people can attack you at the same time? Very annoying to finish a match and see that the 30 points you gained is offset by -170 in the exact same time frame.

Well...The same person can't attack you at the same time, they have to finish their fight first before hitting you again?

  • Lucky you only lost 6 points instead of almost 200 by being hit by people 200 points below you in final minutes of a 3 day tourney.

Yeah, it's very annoying. You go to sleep being rank 1 to 5 and when you wake up you get all the -25 messages and are back to rank 25 to 50...

Yesterday I tried to get to 800 points for a heroic token (I think I was at 750 something) and for nearly every win (which gave me 15 to 22 points) I got hit with a -20 to -30. Got me hours, some luck and some real fast fights with burning through health packs to finally reach the 800.

    Reeeaaally frustrating.
  • Over time you become numb to it.

In fact, one day you will log in and say "I only lost -150 points? I really lucked out!"

Yes, note that the pic was from a non-Hood Lightning round where he probably had <100 points.

As for that particular experience -- I think most of the long time players have had it. Stinks, but there's really nothing you can do about it.

Look to only attack people of higher levels than you -- that way, if they beat you, they'll knock you down by less than 25 pts at a time -- ideally only 15 or so max, each.

yeah i'm pretty numb to it now to wake up in the morning and gone from 1000 to 600. its literally no biggie anymore cuz its not like ur by urself in this aspect, everyone gets hit the same way.
  • Not talking about overnight. Talking about in last hour of a tournament. You get attacked, do 1 match, come back and see you were attacked 7 times in 3 minutes. Overnight it's expected but in 3 min being hit that many times is a pain in the ****.

They are also generally better versed with the logic of the game and know its probably not in their best interest to attack someone with fewer points..therefore fewer retaliations against you. If they do retaliate...more points for you!

Retaliation aren't nearly as annoying as the 0 pts guy who took 3 times to beat you but still knocked off 25-30 points in doing so. You know, because retaliating back for 1 pt is a GREAT idea.

Yes though, it is annoying. The way I play is I usually try and het near my "expected end point" with an hour or 45 min left in the event and attack with the idea to either move up by 150 pts or less, or simply to maintain. Picking and choosing enemies and retaliation carefully in those last 45 min is key. Ohh, and save your biggest point retaliate for the last 3-6 min. Enough time to get a win, but not enough for them to respond. Personally I think the points lost should be 10-15% lower on average but that's just me...
