Cheater Alert: Tommy10244 and TwistedThought

Spoit, it's known as re-rolling. It's indeed just an exploit of the game as it is. You start playing on a new account and buy a token with Story HP, if you don't like the cover, you erase data on Steam and keep re-rolling. Seems awful ineffective to me, but oh well. There is also that thing when you open a token on one of your connected devices, and if you do not like the outcome, re-open the same token on another device that you purposefully keep out of cloud updating, or at least that is the general idea.0

Budget Player Cadet wrote:You know, I feel this needs to be said... The devs are hacks. Seriously, what were they thinking? It's 2014, and this game neither has login-bound data nor server-side controls. What the hell? I mean, one of the other F2P games I've played a lot of is Path of Exile. They don't let the client side get away with ANYTHING. Your characters and everything on them are saved server-side on your unique account, your character's position and actions in-game are all registered completely server-side, and the only thing the client does is provide feedback from the server and accept inputs... It's perhaps worth noting that the game is an ARPG. And that this dedication to preventing cheating causes a few very noteworthy gameplay glitches, such as desync, where the server thinks your character is in one place but the client hasn't updated to reflect that yet. This game could run almost completely server-side with absolutely no detriment. It's like the perfect candidate for this sort of "trust the client with nothing" action. But instead, it seems to trust the client with, well, basically everything. All that's missing is a hack to pull specific characters from specific tokens or something and you could literally hack your way to the perfect roster. That's... not okay. Hell, it's not even okay when you consider the business model. You guys make money through hero point sales, and there's a hack which straight-up gives you hero points! It's like... Really?0

No, not exactly... https://mega.co.nz/#!sxEHHI7A!Krx1BMyMJ ... VgY4kKHsZg0 -
Oh, I see, thanks, the actual detail was murky to me. Man I can never save up this many tokens. My best was what, 12-13 tokens?0

Just to put the cherry on top, one assignment I had was, in a group, to build a simple social mobile application. It didn't have nearly the propensity for cheating that this game had, and we still opted to do almost everything server-side, because that's how rife for abuse the market is. This was a **** class assignment that never got further than a simple prototype, and we still knew, "Don't trust the client".0

TwistedThought is currently floating over 1200 in Top Gun with a team of:
Falcon, Ares and Captain America 2*.
His alliance has grown from 8 members to 16 members. Doubt it'll get disbanded even though given that he has a one hit kill hack, his HP is suspect as well.0 -
I came across him at 1100 with the same team

I got hit by this tommy10244 once as well with my maxed LThor and CMag. I thought how the hack this guy doesn't even have a max 2* can beat me.0

This thing, maybe?
Unless it is a scam to get a virus on your computer or trick people into subscribing, which is also fine I guess.0 -
Tommy seems to be gone, but TwistedThought is alive and kicking at 900 in Krakadoom.
And another Marvel FTW member at 1100.0 -
I just hit Twisted 3 times. Let's see what happens.0
