UI/General
    - Daily Rewards have been added. Each day, Agents will receive rewards to help in the fight against Osborn and other foes.
o These rewards can be Health Packs, Boosts, and even tokens for free Comic Cover Pack draws. o Agents are not penalized for missing a day and progress towards larger rewards will be maintained.
- Tony Stark has been hard at work in a technology to assist Agents in deciding when to have their heroes utilize their powers. As a result, ability usage in battle has been streamlined. The most likely ability to be used will be autoselected with one tap remaining to fire it.
o Other abilities can be selected as normal from there if there is more than one ability of that type to use.
- S.H.I.E.L.D. has updated their threat display on the metamap to now show progress and rewards status for all missions in the Chapter an Agent is currently in.
- S.H.I.E.L.D. has discovered caches of helpful items that were previously only available through requisition via Hero Point or Iso-8, such as Health Packs and Boosts. These items are now also available as rewards for completing some missions.
- New Agents will now start with 10 Health Packs.
o Agents may gain more Health Packs through missions or requisitioning for Hero Points, but S.H.I.E.L.D. will only resupply up to 4 at any time. If an Agent has more than 4, S.H.I.E.L.D. supply officers assume that the Agent has things covered and take a brief break from scrounging up more supplies.
- S.H.I.E.L.D. requisition officers have heard the pleas of Agents and worked hard to secure the more valuable rewards from missions instead of handing out 20 Iso-8 for a duplicate reward. As a result, the chances of getting a new reward instead of 20 Iso-8 have improved across all missions. 20 Iso-8 rewards still exist however, the requisition officers can’t always get their hands on everything necessary, and they’d still like to help Agents out somehow!
- Agents that are connected to Facebook (Accessible in the Options Menu) are now able to Share certain mission rewards with other Agents (or Agents to be!).
o Upon winning a reward from a mission, a player may get a dialog to share out the reward to a number of Facebook friends. These friends can then redeem the rewards if their game is also linked to Facebook. These rewards are true copies of the original, so there is no reason not to be generous in sharing. o S.H.I.E.L.D. control understands that some Agents would prefer to use avenues besides Facebook for features such as this. Rest assured that Nick Fury has heard your requests.

Characters
    - Abilities have been streamlined down to 5 levels from 20. This makes each ability level gain much more powerful, so that gaining a new Comic Cover is more meaningful. This also enables 2+ star characters to be leveled up much more easily.
o Ability balance itself has not changed. The gains that would be made on levels 2-5 on an ability for example have been rolled into the level 2 upgrade. o Current abilities have been converted to the new system on a sliding scale, rounded up. This makes it so that players will never lose progress due to this switch over, only gain power.
 Current Ability Level / New Ability level
        • Level 1 -> Level 1 • Level 2-5 -> Level 2 • Level 6-10 -> Level 3 • Level 11-15 -> Level 4 • Level 16-20 -> Level 5

o As a direct result of each cover being far more valuable than before, we have rebalanced the number of covers available from each mission. In their place, alternate rewards are now available.
o All 3 abilities for any hero may total up to 13 maximum.
      - Characters will now display their effective level instead of a normalized level. This does not result in a change of character power, but simply and easily shows the difference between rarities of characters.
          o New level starts/maximums:
               1 Star – Start at Level 1, maximum of 50 (unchanged)  2 Star – Start at Level 6, maximum of 85  3 Star – Start at Level 15, maximum of 141  4 Star – Start at Level 30, maximum of 230

o Each level of abilities will raise the maximum currently attainable level in chunks instead of by 1 each time. Overall effect of each chunk is the same as leveling that hero once in the old system, so power levels are unchanged.
o The cost of leveling characters is also unchanged. Each chunk of levels costs very close to the old amount of leveling once, so that characters at each equivalent level of power will be equal as before.
o Essentially, this change has no actual gameplay effect, but it lifts the veil on how much more powerful a rarer character is than another.
 It also has the added bonus of allowing Agents in missions and tournaments to easily tell how powerful a Team Up or opponent is instead of wondering if a Level 3 Spider-Man (Classic) is stronger or weaker than a level 23 Storm (Modern).
            - New methods of training heroes in their ability usage have been found. This has resulted in the following:
o Costs for leveling abilities are now a static amount instead of an escalating one. o 2+ star character ability upgrade costs have been reduced o 1 star characters now require Hero Points to upgrade abilities. This is counterbalanced by the fact that the number of ability upgrades that is required has been greatly reduced and that most 1 star characters are available as rewards in Chapters or Events.

              - Hawkeye (Modern)’s Blast Arrow Functionality has changed somewhat. It now does multi target damage instead of destroying a block of tiles. Overall damage per AP has increased.
o Red 10 AP o Hawkeye shoots an explosive arrow, placing a Red Countdown tile. After 4 turns, it deals 120 damage to all enemies. o Level Upgrades
                o Level 2: +25% damage. o Level 3: Reduces countdown to 3 turns. o Level 4: +25% damage. o Level 5: Reduces countdown to 2 turns.

              - Magneto (Classic) has a new ability: Magnetic Translocation
o Purple 10 AP o Exploiting metals buried in the earth, Magneto lifts and moves huge sections of the battlefield, dropping them violently. Swaps up to 5 random Blue tiles with Red tiles. Does 38 damage for each swap. o Level Upgrades:
                • Level 2 – Swaps up to 6 tiles. • Level 3 – Swaps up to 7 tiles. • Level 4 – Swaps up to 9 tiles. • Level 5 – Swaps up to 13 tiles.

              - The Hood (Classic) has a new ability: Intimidation
o Black 9 AP o The Hood demands results, threatening his allies so they work faster. Damages the target for 80 and reduces the timer on 1 random friendly Countdown tile(s) by 1. o Level Upgrades
                • Level 2 – Affects 2 Countdown tiles. • Level 3 – Affects 3 Countdown tiles. • Level 4 – Affects 4 Countdown tiles. • Level 5 – Affects all Countdown tiles.

              - Spider-Man (Classic) has a new ability: Spider-Sense
o Purple Passive o (PASSIVE) Spider-Man reacts to threats before they impact his team. Removes a random enemy Special tile every time Spider-Man is damaged for 10% of his max health with 7 or more Web tiles in play. o Level Upgrades
o Level 2: Requires 6 or more Web tiles. o Level 3: Requires 5 or more Web tiles. o Level 4: Requires 4 or more Web tiles. o Level 5: Requires 3 or more Web tiles.
