I'm trying to update all the characters. Here's an amusing list I came up with, the total damage spewed out per AP for various characters.
4031/AP - 11 AP - Captain America - Star Spangled Avenger -- 4031. Cost after first use.
2434/AP - _5 AP - Human Torch - Flame Jet -- 2434. If you have enough green.
1400/AP - 10 AP - Nick Fury - Demolition -- 14000??. Makes 7 traps. Don't know actual max.
1291/AP - _7 AP - Daredevil - Ambush - 9040. Enemy must activate trap.
1191/AP - _7 AP - Sentry - World Rupture -- 174x16 = 2784. Multiplies strike tiles. Counter. Board shakeup.
1156/AP - 14 AP - Patch - Best There Is - 253x64=16192. Hard to set up for Max.
968/AP -- 10 AP - Magneto - Magnetic Translocation - 745x13=9685. Needs 13 Red/Blue.
927/AP -- 12 AP - Black Panther - Rage of the Panther -- 3708. Gives 5AP to enemy.
876/AP -- 11 AP - Sentry - Supernova -- 1391 + 7x261 = 3218. Hurts allies. Board shakeup.
645/AP -- 14 AP - Thor - Call the Storm -- 2259.
615/AP -- 19 AP - BWGS - Sniper Rifle -- 3912. Board shakeup.
554/AP -- _5 AP - Daken - Chemical Reaction - 2774
546/AP -- _9 AP - She-Hulk - Power of Attorney -- 1644. Board shakeup.
468/AP -- 20 AP - IM40 - Ballistic Salvo -- 3130. Drains AP.
423/AP -- _8 AP - Human Torch - Fireball -- 3390. Destroys 2 red.
366/AP -- 11 AP - Captain America - Star Spangled Avenger -- 4031. Returns 10 Red.
333/AP -- _7 AP - Punisher - Molotov Cocktail -- 783. Makes attack tiles.
It's easy to set up World Rupture with strike tiles, that's the only one that can get a 16x multiplier on strike tiles. With Daken (+136) and Falcon (+282), it's easy to get 1000+ points in strike tiles out before Rupture activates.
If you're mostly just looking to one-shot Hulk, these are the biggies.
13568 - _7 AP + _8 AP- Sentry - World Rupture -- (174+674)x16 = 13568 to entire enemy team.
16192 - 14 AP - Patch - Best There Is - 253x64=16192. Hard to set up for Max.

I guess the Level Up really was a huge nerf to Patch. The people who carefully built a team around him had Patch's effectiveness dropped by 60% or so when the tile damages for other characters creeped up a bit too high.
I need to find stats for unusual builds, such as....

Black Widow 5 red
Capt America 5 yellow

the best part about this list (apart from there being no 2*s) is that most people are nowhere near getting those characters to that level of use.

These are numbers from before the level shift. I don't know anyone with a L5 red Hulk, but I'd guess it's something like 411/AP at L166.0 -
Does anyone have the rare builds mentioned in the original post?0

I feel like sulk has acquitted herself nicely here with PoA. I was also surprised fireball wasn't higher never crunched numbers... its just always fun to throw fireballs.
Edit: I actually would calculate HT red a little higher because you get 2 red as a refund plus damage for destroying 2 red tiles correct?

Red: 2920 + 348 per Green AP. Thus, a theoretical maximum at 30 Green AP of 2920 + (20 * 348) = 9880 damage. Assuming the required spend of 24 AP (14 Red + 10 Green), 9880 / 24 = 411.67 damage per AP consumed.0 -
The base rate might not be very good, but Thor's Thunder Strike often gives you 3+ Green AP or sets up a match 5. I guess there's just no way to quantify how much AP it "gives back" in the form of green, so it's hard to fit it onto the list, but it sure seems efficient to me.0
