Daredevil's more useful; I've started using him as my anti-Juggernaut weapon in pvp. Spidey's pretty useless, now.0

Spidey's playing for keeps here.0 -
Daredevil isn't exactly useless. His abilities are all very powerful, they're just kind of like buying a lottery ticket. You're promised the possibility of a big score (8k crotch kick? Hell yeah!), but all you're really likely to win is a big bag of disappointment. His problem is inconsistency, not impotence.
Spidey isn't exactly useless either. It's more that he used to be stupidly overpowered and now he's just merely annoying, a 3* Bullseye. Combine him with Falcon for the ultimate troll team. If boredom was a weapon, he'd be the most lethal character in the game.
If I had to pick one, I'd have to go with Daredevil. I'll probably lose, but at least I'll get a laugh out of it. Every time an enemy sets off a trap I giggle like a school girl, and you have to find it at least a little funny when the game buries the trap that was your only chance at winning so far into a corner it'll need a visa to get out. Spidey on the other hand just feels sad now. Like a long, slow death-march full of tedium and despair. You might win, slowly, but you'll probably wish you'd just lost quickly instead.0 -

I'll take the spider over the devil, Spidey is consistently mediocre. I do like boosting those def tiles. DD is too all encompassing if you want to see his full potential. You have to commit blue and red to him and spam the hell out of the board to guarantee some sort of trigger consistency. Purple is too slow to start, by the time you get a trap on that enviro tile the ai has already gobbled up all the match potential tiles. leaving you staring at that one useless enviro trap tile, surrounded by nothing. But non of tyhis matters because, by the time any of that happens. he's probably already dead because he has such pathetic vitality.
He's more hassle than hes worth.0 -

Spiderman is hardly useless. Just not auto win for garbage teams in pvp when you have no business winning
He's pretty useless. His main skill is his protect tiles, and he's maybe the third or fourth best 3* for those. His blue is only going to be used if it's the only blue skill you have, and his yellow is overpriced for what it does. I honestly can't think of a situation I'd use him in anymore, not that I ever used him for anything other than prologue healing, whereas I use Daredevil fairly frequently in PVE now.0 -
Can't tell of Spidey, only used it once in a "part of your team" event. But just the purple passive makes him a nuisance.
DD is way too countered by tile-destruction chars, either directly (storms, punisher, GSBW, Ragnarok, Hood, Hulk; dam, even Juggernaut and classic Hawkeye) or rowmakers (thors, magneto, captains, doctor doom); I find win chance too low.0 -
Based on the title of this thread, you're picking between daredevil and Spider-Man , not all other characters. Until daredevil traps go on any color like fury, he's way way way too easy to avoid. Spider-Man hands-down0

Once I got the hang of using Daredevil, I've been able to ensure his traps go off in 80-90% of matches, and any given trap probably 50-60% of the time. Daredevil by a mile.0 -
I'll happily keep both of them.
Daredevil is powerful but chancy. The secret is to just saturate the board with his tiles.
Spidey is one of my regulars. There are so many ways he is useful that I find it so weird that people don't get that.0
