Long standing PVP score bug

This bug has been around for as long as I've been playing the game, which is almost 4 months now.

It's the PVP score miscalculations. Let me set up a scenario:

I have about 580 points and I attack a player who is worth 20 points - this is enough to total up 600 points for a reward. I struggle and beat the opponent and guess what - no reward. Why?? Because my total score is 598 instead of 600.

Has my opponent devalued in points while I was battling him/her? Or was my total points wrong in the first place?

Appreciate all the changes that are being made but sometimes its just better to fix the basic components of the game first before adding value to it.

Yes.

Not necessarily while you were fighting, but since they entered your queue - which is ~9 deep, according to most estimates.

Thanks. This definitely needs to be fixed then! Because the same could happen vice versa and we could potentially skip a valuable opponent

This would need the server to update your opponents' scores on the fly every time you look at the node, which puts immense stress on the hamsters running the server, apparently.
So, this is not going to happen.

That explains a lot that happens to me all the time. But it has worked in my favor a few times. About an hour ago I fought a guy that said he was worth 31 and I ended up with 36 instead
