During PvP's, when your attacked, how many of you take it personally and retaliate no matter the point total just because someone had the nerve to attack you ? Have you ever gotten into a big attack/retaliate tennis match with another player?

    Sometimes I'll win with a tank team and then if I get attacked, attack back almost immediately if I'm playing, but with my good team. It amuses me greatly.

    But yes, i have done this. Although my funniest was last week where i had 0 points and used my tank team to suicide to one guy, who then attacked me. So i used my tank team again, and he still attacked me. This went on 10 games, where i had no points yet he still attacked me for some odd reason. I grew bored and then brought out Patch/Hulk/Daredevil and took 50 points of him. He never attacked again. I miss him.

    I just try to add variety to the threads from time to time. I find other peoples ways of looking at things to be interesting. I don't always want to think about what I don't like about the game.

    Several times I've gotten into a tennis match with attackers. That was when I was able to score in top 10 or so.

    I do it as long as there's a decent points haul involved.

    I had a five rally match with someone in Hotshot - he'd taken an early lead with an Ares/OBW team so I took about 40 off him the first time. I only stopped hitting once the retaliations were down to about 20 because I had better targets icon_e_biggrin.gif

    I've gotten into it a few times but it all depends on the points involved.
    I'll stop if I lose more points then I stand to gain. Sometimes, I get a tennis match where I stand to gain much more.
    It amuses me each time he retaliates as he is actually "helping" me get higher points.

    I retal every single time no matter what (especially when its a high level player ).. I got some few nemesis im always lookin for (alicibalik.. Icemandabeast.. Repronaz.. I know who you are.. lol) What i love is when they hid behind a shield or get out of health pack.. Unfortunately it happened that they got the upper hand on me.. Part of the game.. Generally i skip names i know from here.. But if you hit me then you re back on my hit list.. icon_mrgreen.gif

    Retaliating immediately is generally a waste of points since they probably have less points than you do when they attack you, and so would be gaining a lot more points per attack on you. What I do is wait until I think they've pushed to a point total ~100 points more than me, and then strike then. Hurts them a lot more since they don't want to retaliate for fewer points anymore, and you can snipe them after for even more points by keeping on rotating opponents until you get matched with them again.

    Yeah polarity.. I know you and bee love the ninja style.. You know when you think you have crossed the 1100 Pts and you check your score just to see you lost 30 Pts.. The best way to operate.. Way smoother than mine.. Oh well.. I like brawling.. I got fun doing this.. Even if its not interesting points wise..

    I only retaliate if the points are good. Anything below 20 is just going to cost me in the long run, and make sure that I get attacked more. On the other hand, guys with 30 or more... COME AT ME BRO. I'll take that tradeoff all day long.

    Lately everyone who hits me suddenly stops gaining points for hours. I don't have the patience to wait for someone to move from his 750 points while I need to make my way past 1000.
    So if the retal is worth more than 25 sure I'll take it.
    Else get out of queue, peasant, I need higher targets icon_razz.gif

    This week with someone called "ploysang".
    I think we retaliate eachother 30x, went from 300 points to 600 by only retaliating him.

    If the points are there I attack if they aren't most of the time I'll skip. Sometimes I'll attack when a guy has an interesting combo so I can practice against that particular team.

    I only retaliate if the points are 25 or over and I think I can beat the team.

    It's all about the points.

    Ironically that is how I came to be an alliance member. Fritejay and I battled it back and forth in one PVP and it prompted him to invite me to join his new alliance.

    Hahaha...yeah, she can flip on beast mode with a quickness.

    I do some retals... but generally only if the points are good. At times when you're over 1,000... seems like most of the attacks that sneak in are teams with lower points...so, a lot of times I have to skip those as though I may have gotten hit for -47, that retal may only be worth 3.

    But, there have been times that one person winds up hitting multiple times back to back to back...I don't care if they're only worth 1 point, I'll be glad to pound their team into the pavement.
